Scenic View

For your summertime viewing (and wearing!) pleasure, CC offers a series of gorgeous printed tops and dresses.

What distinguishes these beauties from their patterned counterparts is that these have a landscape or scene rather than an allover print.

Unique, lovely and artistic. Enjoy!
On the runways, Balenciaga offered a series of wonderful scenic frocks, both long sleeve and sleeveless.
Pictures above and left courtesy nymag.com.
These whimsically printed dresses are sort of a cross between the artwork of Hieronymous Bosch and the anthropomorphic garb of Slim Goodbody (anyone remember him??).

Alexander McQueen graphic black and white asymmetrical peacock dress. Runway photo via style.com.
Maison Martin Margiela horse printed tube dress eLuxury.com.

See by Chloe landscape print dress (right), at Neiman Marcus.
The scene is just as breathtaking in a darker print. See by Chloe shoulder pleat print silk dress (above), at shopbop.com.

Zimmerman Tainted Flamingo spaghetti strap trapeze dress (back view, above right). Visit shopbop.com.

McQ bird print boatneck dress with 3/4 sleeves. Visit Net-a-Porter.com.
Alberta Ferretti printed tank dress, also at net-a-porter.
This elegant, shimmery Brian Reyes Cami dress is currently 70% off at shopbop

These last six flora-inspired looks are from Forever 21, and they're all under thirty dollars!

I have a wonderful 50's dress from my grandmother and i would like to show it on my blog with pics of dresses from 2008. I know i've seen the same dresses, but i don't know where !I'm sorry, it's difficult to explain in english... but if you have an idea... !I think you know everything about trends, your blog is amazing !

I am really into prints recently. Have been figuring out ways to wear Hermes scarf as tops and skirts to avoid buying prints. save myself a few bucks.

LOVE!! the balenciaga and mcqueen especially, and I also like that bottom shirt from F21. I noticed it on their website a couple days ago.

I am in love with printed dresses. It's a very refined way of adding ordered colour into ones wardrobe - just add matching accessories and you are good to go!

I am also very happy to see that you have thrown in an Australian designer into the mix (Zimmermann).

i don't like this look/trend. i like scenery/nature as is and not on dresses or fabric or clothing. i think it makes it look a bit too contrived.

These McQ dresses are adorable! Love your choices. They match your good taste.
