First things first, darlings! The winner of CC's Chickdowntown.com Jill Stuart Windowpane Skirt Giveway is the lovely Captivate Me. Congratulations, darling!
CC is off on her beach getaway in Dewey Beach, Delaware! [This photo courtesy Fellow Fashionista Fashion Moment.]

Here are some of the items CC packed:
Bathing suits! Several bikinis and a maillot or two are essential for a coastal getaway. CC is bringing this Zelda Sweetwater suit. Perfect for lounging on the deck in retro fabulous style!
Two-pieces are CC’s go-to for sunbathing (avec SPF, naturally). This Victoria’s Secret sailboat bandeau top and boy short bottom made its way into the Dooney & Bourke luggage!
And this preppy VS striped suit!
And CC had to take this vintage-inspired polka-dot Popina Swimwear suit as well!
CC adores this Hat Attack cap. Check out the chic frayed grosgrain ribbon... In addition to a wide-brimmed sun hat, CC brought this little topper, too!
Of course, CC needs some shorts. J. Crew has been the go-to this summer for this warm-weather essential. CC is loving these rugby stripe shorts. The tailoring is impeccable and the pattern is fun and surprisingly flattering! In this photo, CC paired the shorts with a simply white tank from Old Navy and a gorgeous Tolani mauve zigzag scarf from Chickdowntown.com.
For those chilly summer evening barbecues, a cardigan or two, either in lightweight cashmere or a sturdy cotton and linen blend. This J. Crew cardi is embellished with ruffles ~ CC adores!
Some dark skinnies are essential, along with a pair of crisp white jeans. CC will certainly be taking these gorgeous J Brand beauties from Chickdowntown.com. Fabulous with a chiffon blouse for an evening on the town. Or pair them with a simple pocket tee for a chic sunset picnic on the beach.
This T by Alexander Wang boat neck dress from shopbop.com is perfection! It can double as both a day dress or cover-up, or, with some chic booties, an evening frock! Furthermore, the cotton is super-soft and comfy. This dress is positively dreamy ~ a very happy summer addition to CC’s wardrobe!
To show off those tanned shoulders, this Sofie Olgaard Alasso silk dress, available at aspiringcouture.com, is a must!
Naturally, a maxi dress is essential. CC is totally smitten with her new Yumi Kim Sari Abstract Rose dress, at yumikimshop.com. Gorgeous print, impeccable fit.
Lastly, CC needs some flip-flops. Check out these adorable Trove Tkees sandals from Chickdowntown.com. CC has a pair (in the winner's choice of color!) to give away to one lucky CC reader. [Bio adapted from the Chickdowntown blog :]
Jill Stuart is nothing short of an adolescent fashion prodigy. This New Yorker launched her self-titled women’s brand in 1993, but has been surrounded by the fashion world since she was a young girl. In the ’60s, her parents owned a popular ladies boutique in Manhattan that prompted her teenage years to be spent designing in such as jewelry and handbags. At the age of 15, Bloomingdales picked up her first line of accessories. These designs were her foundation in the ’80s, which ultimately propelled her to create her first line of women’s clothing. Today, Jill Stuart is known for her supreme ability incorporate the latest trend in her designs, no matter the genre: feminine, funky, formal or flashy. She branches off of these ideas and puts her own hip twist on them, while keeping her love of ultra-girly and vintage apparel intact. Her signatures include flirty dresses, fabulous accessories, painted-on jeans and accents of lace and floral – all providing an air of sensuality, while still maintaining a classic appeal.
Chickdowntown.com has lots of other fabulous Jill Stuart pieces. Behold:
This gorgeous Jill Stuart Janeta dress. CC loves the bustier shape and fold detail.
This creamy Jill Stuart slouchy Teresa boot. How delicious are these?
This fierce Jill Stuart wide black Shelly belt. CC adores the double buckle!
This elegant Jill Stuart Windowpane Kasia skirt. So versatile and gorgeous... CC will wear this with a corset top for a party or as a crinoline under a fuller skirt or dress!
Fabulous news, darlings! CC and Chickdowntown have one of these lovely skirts to give away to a lucky CC reader! Two Day Contest!
