i love the ysl's simplicity + styling & beauty.
ooooo mullets. i have seen far too many in my days ;)

I love the idea of having more material on the back of the dress. Beautiful picks by the way!
ycaThe white dress is gorgeous!
I love when you speak Spanish jeje.
Besos.
The Nina Ricci is outstanding, dramatic, vampire-like...
I like the Akris one too... my father is going visiting the stylist Kriemler this week-end ( LUCKY MAN ! XD )
( sorry if the comm is double :S )

oh i do love a nice little bustle!
I LIVE for Vivienne Westwood's interpretation and Sony Rykiel's look is equally stunning. I actually used to hate "mullet" gowns lol, but when they are done right they look incredible.
Interesting dresses but not one of them is really beautiful. Good garments are hard to find, even in the fashion world. And the models too are way too thin these days.
I do agree with Helena, the models are all way too thin these days, but the gowns are surprisingly interesting! I love the Elie Saab, and the Sonia Rykiel is totally fierce. Mullets - much better on gowns than on hair!
i like this cut overall, i think it is always flattering, no matter what ur bodyshape is.
Hehe mullet dressing is a lot dreamier than an actual mullet. ;)
oh my dear mcq :)
i'm not sure about this trend. but i guess its the best way to do short hemlines with cellulite?
lovely post :)

The Elie Saab and Ungaro are just to die for!
Oh, I'm not surprised at all that we have so much in common CC!
I'm also not surprised that you once again selected fantastic examples :)

I want to be the woman who has the life that would require that Ungaro dress.
mullets & couture....who would have thought???

k.bosworth wore a beautiful nina ricci "mullet like" dress recently.

I like the idea of having a "train" feeling without the burden of an actual train.
oh the pink floral one ...AND THE BLACK AND WHITE STRIPES ...gaga
Love the McQueen gown! Love the drape, but the funky fabric gives it an extra touch of fun...
Mullet dressing that is so funny to me. I love the look, I am not sure how it will transfer to ready to wear but will look forward to seeing who is brave enough to try.
Love the blog by the way

I would kill to get the Akris dress!
I like a slight,not a super-deep mullet. I find that it looks too fish-tail-y then . . .
love the idea of a mullet dress! the first one really stands out to me, i particularly like the orange in it.
i love "mullet" dresses. and it may be just me, but i think they make your legs look longer and leaner.
btw, how do you come up w/such different "trends" and styles everyday? it amazes me. :)
i have a dress like this! i feel sort of like i'm wearing a cape when it's on, very floaty!
I am DYING over the multicolored floral one that's mini length in the front-4th from top in Left column accessorized with the cuban-ish hat. LOVE.

nina ricci did it best, i think. i would love to try this one out :)
I love the last photo Carrie.. but I have to admit.. I would not be able to walk in those shoes..
Some of these are a little cuckoo! I really like the McQueen one though.
Oh Ellie Saab and YSL please...
Love this cut so much.

I think is goning to be (for me) one of these trends that I love to see on others, but not on me... Gorgeous dresses, though!
