That miu miu bag is lush! I did manage to pick up a Luella bowling style one at an outlet though, so practical.
I honestly don't get this bag fashion. So they are spacy but aren't they a bit hard to carry in everyday use? Well, what wouldn't a woman do for her looks. I admit I use a backbag myself (a stylish one) but at special occasions I naturally have something more feminine.
I saw the photos of Jessica Alba in those D&G suits on Coco's Tea Party, I admire her guts to break out of the standard 'slinky, backless dress' red carpet formula, but I don't think she quite pulled it off.
My first proper handbag was a bowling bag - bright pink fake leather - ah, to be 12 again! The Miu Miu and Prada offerings are my favourite.

I actually saw someone wearing bowling shoes in the subway last night [real ones, wtf] and remembered the trend and hoped it wasn't coming back. I don't mind the bags, but if the shoes come back in style, I'm just going to lock myself in a closet until they go away again. I can't handle it again.

I remember the bowling bag trend of the late 90s. I was all over it - until I realized that most of those styles can't be slung on the shoulder - I need a longer strap!
I have to say I'm not a fan of the 'bowling bag' I find them ugly. But that being said the Prada one isn't the bad ;) I mean if someone offered it to me I wouldn't turn it down! xx

bowling bags have never been my thing. but i love the lanvin one (mostly because it doesn't really look like a bowling bag) and the miu miu large bowler. the bottega veneta one is cool too.
I have to say I don't own a bowling bag, not my fave kind of bag. But the Lanvin one is to die for!
