I saw this chick on the street the other day with a LITERALLY ground-sweeping leather coat. It looked very Rick Owens. But she looked foolish because it was too long. She reminded me of Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

i think the only floor length thing i have ever worn was my school prom dress. i would like to try it more though so i think i will!

I find long coat disturbing in some cases. Your picks are fantastic though. The YY for Sonia Rykiel gives off such a dark and mysterious feel. I like that <3
I love long dresses and long coats... but i am way too short for them!!!
I don't like them, it's too fashion victim. Unless you live somewhere REALLY cold like Siberia or something...

I would totally wear this if I was lived in a nicer area (altho downtown SF isn't too bad, there are a few bums who pee on the streets. ewww)
Oh I love all these long-length beauties. And I weep that my shortieness means I can't wear clothing like this.
At the moment what we get is a whole swag of maxi dresses. They are everywhere at that great lengths!

I'd so love to wear a coat like this but I'm too short. I'd look like a child wearing my dad's coat.
My favorites are: the LWren coat and the Toni striped coat!
Long-long coats make me worry about how dirty they will get and how often I will take them to the cleaners which makes me aware of how lazy I am. I hate a garment that makes me aware of my character flaws.;-)
