Love Hervé Léger dress.
ReplyDeletePreciosa selección, como siempre.
XXX ;)
That trench with those orange heels are amazing.
ReplyDeleteAnd this is perfect as it's the Under the Sheets-Shhh 100th post anniversary. Yeah!
Khaki is by far my favorite neutral. It is hard to believe I once swore it off because I thought it was too "boring"...little did I know. Etro does some of the most amazing khaki looks, even though they are known for color as does Bottega Veneta. I love the Donna Karan look, so chic and simple! I also adore the Hervé Léger dress, the Tracy Reese jacket and the Chloe skirt. The French Connection bangles are great...I think I may just order some lol! Oh...and the Marni balloon tote is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteThese outfits make me want to go on a safari!
ReplyDeletex

ReplyDeleteOoh, love that you did my 'Show Your Heart' tag! The bikini in particular is a fabulous representative for one's heart. And I adore Jill Sander - and this post is like a wonderful tribute to Ralph Lauren's S/S08 collection! Love love love it. xxx
ReplyDeleteI can't NOT think to Verushka and the YSL's saharienne... <3
ReplyDeleteI just saw that Chloe skirt and died. It's so fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThe camp I work at over the summer requires us to wear khaki pants or shorts on special occasions, and this gives me hope that I can do it without looking completely ridiculous :]
Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your adorable notes, CC. You are the sweetest.
I am so exicited because this Friday MTV Portugal will show one of Kings of Leon's concerts. Yay! ^^

ReplyDeleteDarling, thank you so much for your comment! Tu est très gentille. I love Khaki, and in Paris I found a trench coat to die for, but unfortunately I get very pale with khaki... Those few times I've worn it, I've got a feeling like being dead. it's terrible!
ReplyDeleteBut, Khaki is very lovely indeed - if you don't get pale..
xxxx
FUN Safari!
ReplyDeleteI love the new header... I see you put up a photo of you and I... you finally went red and look how white my hair turned worrying about you dying your hair to red... LOL!!!
For me, Ralph Lauren epitomises the 09 'urban safari' look, I'm loving the khaki harem pants

ReplyDeleteThe paper bag skirt is so excellent. I love khaki with orange.
ReplyDeleteWhat a trend to spot CC! I lovvve what Bottega and Gucci did with this Khaki/Safari motif. Gucci turned it out in a sexy sorta vibe while Veneta cleaned it up.

Have you ever done a fashion column at a magazine before? You pick up trends so well - I always love your compilations!
ReplyDeleteHey Carrie. Wow. These are fantastic. I love them all. I've always wanted to go on a safari. I like the clothes that people wear when they go out on one. Makes me feel like I'm in a Hemingway novel.
ReplyDeleteThis color is so amazing! I really love the pants PAUL AND JOE!
ReplyDeletexoxo miss!
I think safari is really hard to do well. It's definitely filtered down to mainstream a little too much (case study: Banana Republic). However, I love your picks.
ReplyDeleteSafari is something that always seems to pop up year after year. I likethe Bottega Venetta look.
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are incredible and I am really loving the pants!!
