this is a fabulous post! I love all of the designs....it somehow manages to be structured yet soft. amazing!
ReplyDeletelove all the color blocking!
ReplyDeleteespecially # 1 & 3.

To be so young (in fashion designer years) he has such a clear, distinctive and innovative vision. He is amazing. His masterful use of prints is by far the best the industry has seen since Emilio Pucci. His collections always make me envious of womenswear lol. I hope he jumps into menswear.
ReplyDeleteI loved the tans of his Fall stuff, but the color is fabulous as well!! Maybe it's just me, but even though it's colorful it still feels kind of subdued and controlled, nothing wacky and frenzied about it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the intro to his hot young designer! I love his use of color blocking, it's all very modern and so fun!
ReplyDeleteHumm... Isn't that style very "30's" like?? Is it something to do with the world economy? ;) Lovely line, very geometric, and the colors, colorful, yet sober..
ReplyDeleteHey, Carrie, why don't you do a post about hair and make up tendences? I am curious now... ;))
LoL
what a lovely collection, so in love with that 3rd dress! :)
ReplyDeleteI love these! He's just so talented! Great post!
ReplyDeletejuliet xxx
Great color combinations. I love him as well.
ReplyDeleteI love that tone of blue and the way he uses it. Definitely think that first dress after the camel one is the bomb.
ReplyDeletewow, the colors are electric!
ReplyDeleteLove the second to last dress. Also love the blazer on the last dress. All outfits are amazing. Great post.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
LFC
Thanks for the link to your make up post, Carrie!
ReplyDeleteAnd, as I suspected, it is indeed, very much like the 30's style, even the make up. Is it or is it no? Those eyebown, the shadows, the make up, marking the geometry of the face. Lovely. Very sober and "atrevido".
oh i LOVE the third dress! all these looks remind me of a lake or something...so pretty :)
ReplyDeletexx bel

I love the very first look. The blue sleeves are really cool. The closest I've ever gotten to owning Jonathan Saunders was a Jonathan Saunders for Target skirt, but I didn't buy it in the end.
ReplyDeletei love the use of color. i don't have a piece yet but you are tempting me.
ReplyDeleteHe always uses the most stunning colours. He's not one of my favourite designers but I do love his work.

Wow amazing colour combination! Love it:)
ReplyDeleteJS is now available at Target? Woo hoo.....this means I will actually be able to indulged ..
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to like the olive colored satin-y elements mixed with the black, blue, and white. Other than that, the designs themselves are quite chic and well though out by Mr. Saunders! We <3
