  1. I am in love with lavender. I am in awe of the Vicente Villarin gown, which is absolutely stunning. The Derecuny pants are insane! I also love the Alexander Wang jersey off-the-shoulder top. I haven't seen as much lavender this season, especially in menswear, which sucks because it looks great on a lot of guys as well.

  20. I tried on the Fendi cuff, it's cute but pricey. I like lavender but if the color is too light, I usually look washed out.

  21. Great post! Lavender and purples in general are such great colors - in fact I'm wearing purple right now! That Mulberry bag is such a classic, and having it in lavender gives it a romantic twist.

  22. Absolutely lovely post, dear Even I am not a huge fan of this color, those looks are divine! Especially Sergio Rossi sandals, Givenchy and Rykiel's dress, Three As Four look, and Blumarine blouse are divine!

  23. Lavender can be a beautiful colour, but in a wrong material and cut, it can look VERY tacky. I guess silky, grecian dresses are the best to wear this colour on..

    ReplyDelete
  24. i'm a fan.

that ring looks cute - plus the whole concept is great with the new mac lipglosses that came out

  35. I love purple colors... must find more!! I want one of those dresses, plus the scarf, the belt, the ring, and the off the shoulder top... I need more money.

I was thinking of wearing some of the stick on earrings at the corners of my eyes sometime... We'll have to see tho, cause most of them have princess faces on them. It'll depend on what kind of mood I'm in :)

  36. Lavender is a great color and looks good on everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I love how pretty lavender looks but don't love how it washes out my complexion. That Rodarte dress might work though, as it blends black and white into the design and the lavender isn't next to the face or skin. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  38. U can see from my page how much i love purple- just see my new babies... :) and yeah, they are velvet laces.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think Lavender is such a beautiful color. Plus, it works so well for darker skinned girls like myself! ;)

  40. Yay! Thanks for the tip, so glad they ship to Canada :)

I love that Basso look, the muted top and pants is fantastic! I love lavendar and lilac too, it can be a hard colour to find sometimes (along with seafoam green) but they look great with my colouring.

Oh and I would die to have that Mulberry bag. Seriously, there should be more pastel bags out there!

  53. Vuitton, Marni, Wang, and Rodarte are the designers who used lanvender beautifully for the spring season. It's such an optimistic colour. I really was a fan of Gucci S/S09, but that floor-length kaftan dress is just all wrong; colour was gorgeous though. I've actually been looking for a pastel blazer for the spring season; lavender is now on the list! Thanks CC for the heads up on the giveaway today!

  54. I've neglected lilac for so long, in favour of bright or deep purple, but suddenly it looks like a no-brainer colour choice! I couldn't do a full outfit, probably just a top or something though.
