I am in love with lavender. I am in awe of the Vicente Villarin gown, which is absolutely stunning. The Derecuny pants are insane! I also love the Alexander Wang jersey off-the-shoulder top. I haven't seen as much lavender this season, especially in menswear, which sucks because it looks great on a lot of guys as well.
ReplyDeleteI love purple. Lavender is unique purple! :)

ReplyDeletehttp://inlovewith-fashion.blogspot.com/
thanks for your comment, dear!! lovely set of photos. this color is awesome n_n.
ReplyDeleteI tried on the Fendi cuff, it's cute but pricey. I like lavender but if the color is too light, I usually look washed out.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Lavender and purples in general are such great colors - in fact I'm wearing purple right now! That Mulberry bag is such a classic, and having it in lavender gives it a romantic twist.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely post, dear Even I am not a huge fan of this color, those looks are divine! Especially Sergio Rossi sandals, Givenchy and Rykiel's dress, Three As Four look, and Blumarine blouse are divine!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, darling!

Lavender can be a beautiful colour, but in a wrong material and cut, it can look VERY tacky. I guess silky, grecian dresses are the best to wear this colour on..
ReplyDeletei'm a fan.
ReplyDeletethat ring looks cute - plus the whole concept is great with the new mac lipglosses that came out
oh you are so lovely with your give a ways!!!! :) too kind indeed..love you for it!
ReplyDeleteand i MUST have this Sonia Rykiel on my body now please. haha i love love it!
xxx bel
adore how differently each designer has used this colour! it is such a chic but calm colour. adore how Wang fused into his otherwise grungy style. It is truely versatile.

Lavender always reminds me at the lavender we had in our old house. Every spring the smell was in the whole garden and I loved it! Of course I also like the colour, I am so impressed by the Dior Make up!
ReplyDeletegreat finds! i'm so excited for summer and all the colors that go along with it!!
ReplyDeleteLove lavenders so in for this season. I adore the John Galliano dress. It is so gorgeous. Amazing post as usual.

I love Lavander.
ReplyDeleteMulberry, so lovely !!!
XXX wapa ;)
I love that shade...the little Luella dress stole my heart!
ReplyDeleteLavender has ALWAYS been one of my favorite pastels to break out for spring--no matter what the season or trends...it's always such a girly and classic color!
ReplyDeleteI love the color. Fred Flare actually has a lavendar beret that I'm itching to get my hands on! :)
ReplyDeletelove the printed pants.Today I too am wearing something in the purple color family. Fabulous give away wouldnt want to pass up this chance at any cost. love the leggings.
ReplyDeleteI love purple colors... must find more!! I want one of those dresses, plus the scarf, the belt, the ring, and the off the shoulder top... I need more money.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of wearing some of the stick on earrings at the corners of my eyes sometime... We'll have to see tho, cause most of them have princess faces on them. It'll depend on what kind of mood I'm in :)
Lavender is a great color and looks good on everyone.
ReplyDeleteI love how pretty lavender looks but don't love how it washes out my complexion. That Rodarte dress might work though, as it blends black and white into the design and the lavender isn't next to the face or skin. :-)
ReplyDeleteU can see from my page how much i love purple- just see my new babies... :) and yeah, they are velvet laces.
ReplyDeleteI think Lavender is such a beautiful color. Plus, it works so well for darker skinned girls like myself! ;)
ReplyDeleteYay! Thanks for the tip, so glad they ship to Canada :)
ReplyDeleteI love that Basso look, the muted top and pants is fantastic! I love lavendar and lilac too, it can be a hard colour to find sometimes (along with seafoam green) but they look great with my colouring.
Oh and I would die to have that Mulberry bag. Seriously, there should be more pastel bags out there!
x0x0 Lusty :)
I'm leaving a relevant comment. I DO NOT deserve to win the giveaway because I have so much leg wear in my house it looks like a bomb site.

ReplyDeleteEl lavanda es tan chic! Me gusta mucho el look de Derercuny, tus selecciones siempre son impecables,
ReplyDeletebesos!
Vuitton, Marni, Wang, and Rodarte are the designers who used lanvender beautifully for the spring season. It's such an optimistic colour. I really was a fan of Gucci S/S09, but that floor-length kaftan dress is just all wrong; colour was gorgeous though. I've actually been looking for a pastel blazer for the spring season; lavender is now on the list! Thanks CC for the heads up on the giveaway today!
ReplyDelete[K]
I've neglected lilac for so long, in favour of bright or deep purple, but suddenly it looks like a no-brainer colour choice! I couldn't do a full outfit, probably just a top or something though.

Ooooh, shiny lavender pants??? YES PLEASE! There is something so soft and sweet about this color, it looks weightless and I am loving it. I also think it might actually look good on my paleness instead of washing me out!
ReplyDeleteLavender always makes me think of old ladies, the smell of powder and Easter eggs. It is a pretty colour. I need to clear out my cache of association and give it another chance.
ReplyDeleteSo in love with the color Lavender. I love all these choices! I need to find lavender nail polish asap =)
ReplyDeleteI have to say I'm kind of in love with the lavender/lilac color at the moment too. I recently purchases a vintage granny blazer.. It's lilac, with an off white color with pearls on them! very granny, will wear it tomorrow to see what it's like haha!
ReplyDeletexx-LJ
I love those leather pants and also those Luella shoes are sooooo gorgeous!!!! I am dying to have a pair...
ReplyDeleteLavender is lovely.. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteoh wow, um I desperately need new stockings if this isn't random.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love this post. Great pictures I especially love the orange and lavender shoes.
Lavender looks a bit blah on me, but I do love that first Luella dress!!
ReplyDeletethis is a lovely colour! so cool and soothing to the eye. lovely in sheer or chiffon!
ReplyDeletexxx
Lavender is such a lovely shade. I think that its fun yet tame, and let's be honest, who doesn't look good in lavender. It really is a universally flattering shade. Fab finds!

Those lavender and orange shoes are adorable!! I would never have thought to pair the two colours but they are delicious!!!
ReplyDeleteLord I love lavender - the colour, the herb, the smell... And those shoes are awesome. Lavender and orange - yum!
ReplyDeleteLavender is my favorite color =] It always has been, since I was a little girl. My room/bedding (that leopard print satin bedding of mine seen in various photos) is lavender! Excessive, perhaps, but oh well =]
ReplyDeleteOo! Another legwear giveaway! It sounds quite fab, since I've never yet tried wearing patterned tights - I'm a bit hesitant to actually. Perhaps I will!
Bisous,
La C.
Loooove the leopard swimsuit! Great choices
ReplyDeleteC.
I love lavender. It is one of those colors that looks good on everybody, every skin tone, and every age. I think that is why Michelle Obama wears it so much.
ReplyDeletethese are gorrrgeous! i am just starting to love lilac/lavender again after about 6 years. I was crazy about it in highschool, and now I find myself wanting it again. My particular lust is for nailpolish in that shade....mm yes.
ReplyDeletei loved the john galliano dress! except i was surprised it was his. it somehow seems so... girly :D lavender has been growing on me. i recently dyed a set of my bed sheets lavender and it made me very happy!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and calming! :)
ReplyDeletei'm loving purples and lavenders = those dresses are so pretty!
ReplyDeletehi carrie! i love all the pics in your blog! truly inspiring.... will definitely follow your blog, its a great and wide source of inspiration! x0x0- irene
ReplyDeletei love lavender but don't own anything in that shade! it is such a lovely shade for all those gowns.
ReplyDeleteI definitely fell in love with lavender with that Luella collection. Lavender and grey is possibly the most perfect combination.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! Enter me, for sure.
Lavender is such a beautiful colour to wear. I especially love the Wang & Luella pieces you featured. xx
ReplyDeleteHi there-oh such a gorgeous shade and some divine picks!! I really do love the Fendi cuff!
ReplyDeleteI love this shade. Lavender is a softer shade than purple and it's great with romantic look (which is one of my fave style).
ReplyDeleteAs always, Loved everything you picked CC. ^___^
I love this color!! And your blog!!
ReplyDeleteI love lavender, or parme !
ReplyDeleteOoh! Lavender was once my favourite colour! I had a lavender bed spread, frilly lampshade, side lamp, pierrot doll, haven't worn this shade in a while though, gorgeous pieces here! :)

Carrie! Girl, I agree! The leopard swim suit is fierce, and that Blumarine top and skirt is gorgeous. So easy to put together too! I'm looking forward to lavenders in Spring!
ReplyDeleteP.s. Great post, as always. :-)
All these pale purples haven't really caught my eye until now. They are really pretty, very delicate.
ReplyDeleteHubba hubba! Lets for a moment forget the fact that we're discussing a colour....can we focus instead on the leather pants by Derercuny? Whoa, ultimate lust!
ReplyDeleteAnd that Sonia Rykel dress > sex!!
p.s. CC, I don't want anything thanks...I'll try and secure the wrap tomorrow :) (I'll be in touch)
hi!
ReplyDeleteIts very romantic!

Kira
Lavender is gorgeous and so are many of these dresses. Geez what i would give for that Luella Bartley creation! :)
