I admit I prefer the supercrazy, futuristic or totally weird hats a la Jones ... but it has some serious historical touch which is quite inspiring !

I couldn't agree more. Not only because it's a historical piece but to me it's that touch of finesse. It's truly a wonderful elegant piece. La créme de la créme if you may.

This is such a beautiful post, CC! Made me think of Anya... I missed her a lot. Frankly, I think her creations are my favourite. She may not be as famouse as Mr. Jones & Co (yet), but her hats are beautiful and unique, in my opinion. Hope you had a fabulous weekend, darling! xxx

I do love hats.
Too wonderfuler (if that wasn't a word, it is now! ;] ) selection too mention them all, but I love that first photo.

Anya does do the most amazing hats, plus her blog is just fantastic!
I also love Stephen Jones' work. I was fortunate enough to get prime front row seats at his show a while back, and see him and his work myself. The 'Hats: An Anthology' exhibition he currated was simply excellent.

I love hats. I think it would be cool to own a top hat like Willy Wonka. I'm not sure where I would wear it, but it would be well worth it to own.

I used to wear vintage hats all the time in high school! I should start again... it's tough when you have full bangs, though.

I have a HUGE collection of vintage and new hats, headbands, and fascinators that I wear all the time. My favorite vintage hats are Schiaparelli and Dior. My favorite current designers are Tour de Force and Stepen Jones. Anya will have such an incredible experience. Keep hats alive!
