Hi there-thanks so much for the shout out my dear, so lovely of you and what a fabulous post too! My faves are the Alexander McQueen booties, I'd adore something similiar if possible!!
ReplyDeleteI've been on the look out for an Oxford open toe bootie for fall. Problem is my size.I have peanut feet. But I'll keep searching.
ReplyDeleteI loveeeeee the Black Givenchy platform cuff sandals. Amerie wore to the BET Awards a few weeks ago, and rocked them!! great post!!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.hottheels.blogspot.com
I think I like the more open-toed ones. I think they're cute, though most guys I know think they're odd-looking. Female fashion is more for other girls than guys, anyway :) I love the red patent sandal!
ReplyDeleteAwesome post darling CC!
ReplyDeleteI need the cut out booties for the next season. :)
as a general rule, I am not a huge fan, but you found some great ones!
ReplyDeleteI love the Alexander McQueen peep-toe ankle boots. Very Chic
ReplyDeleteShooties!
ReplyDelete...when titles are as great as the post!

I adore this post! I'm dying for a pair of summer booties. Shooties is such a cute title!
ReplyDeleteWow how amazing is that blog header of yours!
ReplyDeleteYep the shoe boot combo is sure here to stay for sometime yet. I can't think of one pair (from your selection) I dislike.

What even more fabulous is the fact that this Fall I get to wear this booties in almost all jeweled tones. My heart belongs to Donna Karan emerald green booties. Thank you for the post and great pictures!
ReplyDeleteYou've educated me today, CC. I would never have been able to identify a Shootie before today.
ReplyDeletegreat post. I tried to resist seasons ago and looked like they will stay for a while.
ReplyDeleteFabulous finds! These are so gorgeous...these boots always look amazing with a mini dress.
ReplyDeletemakes me want to buy more shoes! thanks cc! haha
ReplyDeletelove love love any booties/sandles with lace on them..yum
I hated these at first...I guess I hated how they were worn. I love them now. I guess if you have the stems to pull them off, they work. The Alexander McQueen peep toes are amazing! I also love the L.A.M.B. Rangers, which are so adorable. I have been seeing the Givenchy platforms a lot lately on the feet of many stars.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite trend by far. I hope it lasts forever because these are the only shoes I can wear and feel good in IE, my horrible scars on my ankles are covered up :(
ReplyDeleteSadly, most of these gorgeous pics are too high for me, but I do love the Elizabeth and James Luella Gladiator booties - again, too high, but one can dream.
i cannot pick a favorite for the life of me!
ReplyDeleteall the shoes are awesome! if only i were the richest girl in the world, i'll buy them all! :))
ReplyDeletexx
hi love! emma watson from the harry potter movies was on the today show this morning with a earth-tone set similar to the black christian louboutins..i literally stopped dead in my tracks!luvs it!
ReplyDeletelove, v
Those shoes are pretty awesome!
ReplyDeleteGreat shoes, they are so awesome!
ReplyDeleteI am so out of the loop. Apparently I own a pair of shooties and didn't even realize it. Lol. I just called them boots. Oh dear.
ReplyDeleteThe ones you posted are beautiful. It makes me want to dash out of work and immediately go shoe shopping at Nordstrom right now!
Oh wow, you've outdone yourself CC! I was not expecting this bonanza of shoe porn today. Now, excuse me while I wipe the drool off my keyboard. ;-)
ReplyDeleteCC this is fabulous...I can't even pick a favorite, I'll take them all! :)
ReplyDeleteXOXO
All so desirable!! Agh the want barometer is too high.
ReplyDeleteI love the dark sapphire blue shoes - they are amazing!!
ReplyDeletethey are all so stunning! Can I have one of each please? Ok. Great! Thank you :)
ReplyDelete<3,
Iva
Love it...now I REALLY can feel like it is ok to wear my low boots to work with a dress without feeling like a freak. My co-workers don't like this style, but I love it! It's a great way to use your boots during the summer and still get a little style going!
ReplyDeletei usually like a full bootie! but some of these are delicious.
ReplyDeletelove your term" shooties"
you are sooo sweet.
x
Can I tell you how jealous I am of your latest score? Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI have a love-hate relationship with these shooties - I tend to either find them hideous or covet them, depending on the pair. Those sheer Loub's (despite what you might think from my post today!) definitely fall in the "covet" category.
ReplyDeleteI totally love this trend. They are just such hot shoes!
ReplyDeleteliliesandgrapes.blogspot.com
I absolutely agree. I love the "shooties". They scream fierceness and style. I'm obsessed you might say.
ReplyDeletelove the shoes. great picks, again :)
ReplyDeletehappy Friday, xoxo
Shoes, shoes and more shoes!! I'm in heaven!! lovely post
ReplyDelete:)
box-of-stye
I want the L.A.M.B. pair. Perhaps it's the ruffles, or the Mary-Jane like appeal. Ooh, I want some shooties! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the shootie! I still want the Alexander Wang ones from last season, but fear they may shorten me too much!
ReplyDeleteI can't stop starring at the Miu Miu gold shoes... thanks for introducing us!!! xoxo bycali
ReplyDeleteToo many beauties in your selection, I totally love this trend!
ReplyDeleteWOW these are badass!!! I love them all!!
ReplyDeleteAm SO with you on the shoeboot thing! I have a beautiful suede fringed pair from Dune (so beautiful in fact that I took one of my blog pics of them and used it as my Twitter background). Apart from the lack of red soles they are a double take of the Louboutin version that I spied on a pic of Rhianna. My shoes rock! Loving this blog Lady!! x
ReplyDeleteI am definitely behind this trend. They always look so special.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy you did a post on these because I just love them! But I have to be honest (I am almost shamed to admit) that I have yet to wear/ purchase a pair! I've wanted to for so long but I just never know which ones to go for! I am going to look at all of your pics again and hopefully I will be on my way to a purchase! Ha!
ReplyDeleteGreat post as always love :) XOXO
absoultely love shooties.
ReplyDeleteare they really called that tho?? lol
I'm still loving the ones I got last year: http://wendybrandes.com/blog/2008/06/put-it-in-neutral/
ReplyDeleteSome seriously stunning footwear! Loving those shoes from the Matthew Williamson resort look. And those Miu Miu suedes ones are gorgeous! Ooh and the Louboutin sheer lace shoes look so interesting. Yum and love the Topshop ones. Hope you're well dear :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, i dream in shoes, for some reason this summer, i am just always in the mood for booties. love the first Alexander McQueen--so rock-chic! love these:Proenza Schouler Resort,Ana Locking wedge bootie,Giuseppe Zanotti Shoes stitched peep-toe booties and Loeffler Randall Mabel strappy platform--gosh! so much expensive taste lol
ReplyDeletexoxo
Ah! I have a pair of 'shooties' (haha, hadn't come across that term before), but find mine so hard to use/style :( I think you need the right legs for it, and I sadly, do not have them...
ReplyDeletexx
Once again, you do it.
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
XOX
I love those gorgeous sheer lace boots! As close to a glass slipper as you can get maybe... xo♥
ReplyDeleteI love so many of these pairs, it's crazy!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I am ALL about the "shooties"... I just bought my first pair today and plan to buy MANY MORE pairs in the VERY NEAR future.... mmmmmm... must satisfy my shootie craving lol!!!

ReplyDeletexx
Very stylish, I am sure great for a ladies night out!
ReplyDeleteOooh, so much eye candy! I prefer the more sandal-inspired versions like the Rupert Sanderson ones, though I love the skull element of the McQueen boot. So many gorgeous versions... I'm glad this trend isn't dying yet, considering I still have a pair I haven't worn yet. Great post as usual!
ReplyDeleteshoe booties are the hottest!!!
ReplyDeleteIn general, not a fan of peeptoe shoe boots (I mean, whyyyyy? It's clearly for winter!!) - but some of these are covetable!
ReplyDeleteamazing shoes... want every single one of em.. lol... this cant be good...
