Oh why did you have to post this???
ReplyDeleteNow I can't get my mind off of going on vacation at a chi-chi resort!
I'm so ready to lounge around a pool on a warm evening with a cocktail in my hand wearing one of those long print dresses, like the Mathew Williamson and some Boho Glam jewelry from Beladora.com.
...in my dreams!
your right! they are more like gowns!
ReplyDeleteOh how fabulous!! These long, fabulous sun dresses are simply marvelous! They are so romantic and they always remind me of a posh beach resort!
ReplyDeleteAs usual, fabulous post!
Cheers,
Clare
Love the dresses even if they are gown like. Perfect for the beach, farmers market or a picnic lunch date. I've never worn one before but have always wanted too. Call it being behind on the times in my case (ie:lack of money and a fashion sense!)
ReplyDeleteBy the way this is the first time I've heard of Yumi Kim (sad I know) but there are some gorgeous clothes on their site. Breezy, bright and fun!!
I adore Maxi's. I like mine to have flow to them rather than be the straight columns (too restricting).
ReplyDeleteIt's such a beautiful way to show off the gorgeous print fabrics!
BTW, I'm also holding an amazing giveaway on my blog. There are 4 different Lipstick Queen prize packages up for grabs (total retail $200). You can enter here.
those dresses are hot... Ugh I'm such a sucker for summer dresses! They're good ventilation for the summer compare to jeans though LOL! Have a great weekend dear!
ReplyDeleteoh that Collette Dinnigan dress is absolutely gorgeous! have a great weekend! xo

ReplyDeleteOh, I just adore all of these--the patterns are all stunning! That blue gucci creation is downright dreamy--now if only there were appropriate occasions to wear long dresses to in Jackson:) xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Vogue cover is gorgeous... Love Valentina, love her dress. And I also really like pattern on Collette Dinnigan Resort dress, I think it's something about colour scheme... not even sure... but it's just beautiful... xxxx
ReplyDeleteThose dresses are so lovely! It makes me want to put some on and have a drink by a pool! have a fantastic weekend my dear!

I haven't been able to find a maxi dress that flatters my figure. I'm only 5'2" and sometimes it just seems like too much dress for me. Hopefully one will come along that sweeps me off my feet.
ReplyDeleteFabulous maxi dresses...

ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of the maxi...what a fabulous contest!

When I think of patterns on long dresses it scares me! lol...but these look great. I love Naeem Khan's gown, it is made so interesting by the print. I also love the Matthew Williamson feather-print dress. It is so summery. Of course, Diane von Furstenburg is a master of prints and hew dress is absolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteLove Yumi Kim!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous post. I love the dresses.
ReplyDeleteI love these dresses and am totally in the market for a few of them. They are so breezy and cool for summer. In fact I went to the Yumi Kim store in the east village yesterday and bought a fabulous silk top. I love it. I just adore the patterns of the pieces. They are so perfect for summer in the dresses and I really love them even more in the tops bc they can translate to winter with a hot cigarette pant or skinny jean with a bootie. maybe with the booties from yesterday's post! loves it, CC as always!!
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend:)
