I hear you loud and clear CC, accessories maketh the woman (or man). I have a wide range of scarves and they make my work outfits so much more interesting....they jazz up an outfit. And are an inexpensive (relative) way to do so.

Love, love, love scarves!I have six or seven, and I love pairing them with a basic tee and distressed jeans, or a simple black sheath.
I just couldn't resist this little giveaway and had to leave a few words.
I've gone ahead and gotten some brightly colored tights to pair with darling dresses for the chilly season to come and can't help but think that this scarf would be the perfect last addition to my winter wardrobe (and I LOVE the turquoise color!) Brilliant and beautiful wrapped (hopefully around my neck) in one!

I know my go to clothing item when I can't figure out how to make an outfit feel more special is definately the scarf! My new personal favorite is a deep violet cashmere scarf from India, and talk about a conversation piece. Nothing else in my wardrobe seems to cause more of a stir! Nothing like a scarf..A scarf can turn a plain white tee into the best outfit..More appealing. I always say dont over do it but One main accessory like a head band, scarf or earrings can bring your outfit out..Great Post! xx:Aly

Scarves are my ABSOLUTE favorite. They are so functional and amazing. I love that there are SO MANY different kinds. And I love them when I'm having a bad hair day, and I can leave my hair in a messy bun and just distract from it with a scarf. LOVE this post!

Scarves are such a versatile accessory. You can tie it around your waist in lieu of a belt, you can loosely tie it around your neck, you can cover your hair in lieu of a hat. The possibilties are endless!

There was this lovely lightweight gray and white striped scarf that JCrew sold a few months back that I'm still kicking myself for not getting. And now I'm on a hunt to find something similar...that said, these are lovely options!

i am loving this tolani turquoise pebbles scarf! it's a great pop of color for any casual outfit. scarves are wonderful accessories: they look good and feel good, esp when it's getting colder out, like now!
