I have such an obsession with tailored shorts. I'm hoping some will go on sale now that the cooler months are fast approaching. Oh, I would give anything for a pair from Chloe. I saw Eva Longoria wearing a peach-colored pair with a bow sash in a magazine a few months back...pure bliss. I want! :)

My 9 y o daughter, who doesn't read fash mags for trends, has decided to do the winter shorts thing on her own merit. She takes summer short shorts and puts them over leggings. Then wears leg warmers. It's very cute. And strangely appropriate.
Those Chloe ones have to be my favorite. Something about that look always reminds me Molly Ringwald and all those cool New Wave kids from back in the day:)

I've decided that I will rock winter shorts this year. Previous years I've thought it was a bit of a naff idea, but I'm liking what I'm seeing this year, especially the subtle grey ones with the preppy cuts and school uniform materials, teamed with thick black tights and bright t-shirts. Great post, I enjoyed looking through the pictures.
This, my dears, is too much of a stretch. But enjoy.

You have no idea how much I want those Phillip Lim leather shorts. I found these great grey tweed See by Chloe shorts that I can wear now that it's cooling down. :) But, a leather pair are definitely on my list of things I need!

hmmm...I didn't know how I felt about it at first but I kind of love it. especially with really really dark tights or some fabulous tights that are available this season with lace and crochet and everything.
Ilove winter shorts, but I prefer a straight length to a tulip-y flare. Am surprised to see flared shorts making such a comeback!

CC, we must be on the same wavelength. I recently cut up a pair of thrifted leather pants to make cuffed leather shorts. I adored them instantly and decided to wear them out with stockings and boots.
