  1. I love the mini dress Anne Cleveland is wearing from Stephen Burrows' Fall 2009 collection! I love mini skirts! My mother isn't a big fan of them, but I wear them any way.

  2. Yay! Super cool!

Cavalli and Preen are my favorites.

  3. Hi there-fabulous picks my dear, I used to think I should stay away from mini skirts as I get older, but as long as you get your outfit right, its a fabulous look!

  4. OMG, they are so sexy! I love the Louis Vuiton skirt. Such a pity I would need some skinny legs ... :(

  5. ahh these minis never get old, I especially love the ones that flare out a little bit. Perfect for spring and summer--I can't wait!

  6. damn their perfect legs!! i think i need to start doing some lunges! eek!

  7. Oh my! Some of them are a bit scandalous, but then again fashion should be! I absolutely love the Stephen Burrows dress, the silhouette created is amazing and the Mark Fast dress as well. I guess I like for arms to be covered up some when the legs are thrown out there. It keeps some of the mystery. Also, Amanda Bynes looks so cute. I adore her and her legs : ).

  8. A bit scary for someone who doesn't love her thighs, but I might get brave a get one with some volume for spring.

  9. I have the long legs to rock minis and I do often. Lovin it!

  10. Oh la la! Fabulous!
Especialy like first, second and last photos. Of course, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Matthew Williamson, Hervé Léger, lovely Jill Stuart dress, and finally - Frank Tell!

  11. love minis! The twenty by twelve is my fav...the large sweater balances out the mini!

  12. uhoh, it's shorter than ever! i tend to be a little scared these days, but sharon's right, you can still wear minis as you get older.

  13. CC you always make me want to do extra yoga for long, lean leg muscles :)
I'm so excited for the micro mini being in...I think they're absolute perfection for summer! Now all we need is some warm weather (at least on the East Coast!).

And you know, I have thought about writing something about my college experience...I think the worst part is that my college is considered "crazy liberal"..it makes me wish that some of these people could really see a liberal school!

  14. I love the Preen minidress, even though I'm so self-conscious of my legs. The dresses are so sexy!

  28. Haa, there was a big controversy at my school about the length of dresses and skirst, but I'll keep wearing them short until designers stop making them look so good (aka, not for a while :P)!!

    peace&love, nicole.

  29. if only i had a place to wear Toni Maticevski! hot, hot!

  30. Love the mini, prefer it to shorts I think. As a side note, D&G Fall09/RTW knocked my socks off! NOT Dolce & Gabbana, but D&G! Just so artistic. What did you think?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm totally in love with that Louis Vuitton look - it's like over-the-top minimalism. I love it!

    ReplyDelete
  32. The super short minnies are huge in Japan! Have you seen Lindsay Lohan lately? She is looking awful. The last magazine shoot she did, the one you featured, was absolutely shocking. I hope she gets herself together soon she is so talented.

  33. I love minis. The first picture is divine and that Louis Vuitton ensemble is seriously to die for.

  35. CC dahlin', heard this 'mini trend' was credited to Mary Quant, who was inspired by the Mini Cooper automobile, but André Courrèges was also cited as the 'nventor' and there is disagreement as to who got there first...anywhooo, they are still so fab...on the 'right' gal that is... Luv the trivia as usual...hee*

  41. Hey CC! Gorgeous picks! Minis can look super sexy and chic on some girls, but sadly they're not for me. Even with tights on, I feel quite self-conscious and it's just not worth it if I'm not comfortable!
Hope you're doing well my dear. Take care and have a great day :)

  43. O how I wish I could! I fear I just don't have the legs to carry them off. The highest I go is above the knee. But I would love to mini it up.
