  4. i think showing a little shoulder is just about the sexiest thing ever! so much more subtle than a short skirt or a low-cut shirt.

  5. I like the cut-outs, that is really something special!

  6. Kane, Godin and Leger(always!) are my favorites of this bunch. Cut out shoulders are something I'm really interested right now.

Thank you so much, dear, for adding me to your fabulous blog roll. You blog is amazing, one of my favorites. I love how you can always see consistency in a mix of completely different styles and variations of one thing for every taste out there.

Michael Kors's suit is fantastic, Donna Karan and Elie Saab, and the first three photos are adorable!

  13. I tend towards more the goddess-y drape of the open shoulder rather than the cut out look only bc I'm not so sure I could pull off the latter--but I love them both!

  25. Good thing about the shoulders is that who has fat shoulders? Add some light reflecting lotion and you are good to go!

Drooling over the Ellie Saab and Christopher Kane ones.

I myself love the one shoulder look, but it's my fat arms, not shoulders, that keep me from going all the way. I did snap up a cute, royal blue Forever 21 dress that has the "grecian" component I crave, maybe I'll give that a whirl in a month or two :)

  26. i love anything cut out shoulders or off the shoulder. it's sexy and still tasteful.

  27. I am such a huge fan of this trend. Shoulders tend to look ok even when we haven't been as dedicated to our fitness as we'd like. They're a good body part to show off!

    ReplyDelete
  28. You don't have to be conscious about your shoulders to pull off this trend. but i find it so provocative for a reason. Who said you had to show cleavage or legs to be sexy... not you can show a little bit of shoulder! ;)

  29. My favorite trend of all time, I must admit! I always wear sweaters/tops that have revealed shoulders/cutouts!

    La C.
