Darlings, we know you have a great eye for fashion, but do your fashion choices bring out those pretty peepers? Or compliment your lovely locks? Or set your skin aglow? Stepping into clothes that work for you is like finding a beautiful second skin that makes you even more yourself. The basics of personal color coordination are easy to learn and fun to apply. Here's how to make the ideal clothing choice, one that will compliment your skin, hair and eyes and allow your natural beauty to shine. For you blond beauties with green or blue-green eyes, soft earth tones like browns, oranges, peaches and yellow-based greens are a must for the golden-hued among you.
Rose-based colors like pinks, plums and mauves work best for lighter toned ash blondes with eyes of blue, green, or gray.
For the true redheads, and those with auburn or coppery hair, choose golden tones in orange, camel, soft yellow greens, and muted golds.
Strawberry blonds and those with light auburn hair and light eyes should go with ivory, tan, light to medium browns, warm grays, as well as aqua, marine, and violet blues.
Brunettes with golden undertones in their hair, eyes and skin will look best in soft earth tones like ivory, apricot, beige and tans as well as violet blues and golden yellows.
Brown and black hair accompanied by dark eyes and brown or olive skin can hold its own with vibrant colors. Vivid reds, blues and greens and yellows as well as black and white will show off your stunning natural style.

ReplyDeleteGreat POST!!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder which colours are best for those few of us with silver-greying hair with a touch of brown left and green or hazel eyes? I have a feeling hot pink would be good but I'm not sure. I kind of like the beige - brown dress by Asos but I'm definitely not petite.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the VS dress, but I don't have that body for it. the Vila dresss by asos is GorG and the colour.
