answer to my prayers! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't like showing my legs and all of the dresses I see nowadays at high street fashions stores are too short for me to wear...
have a lovely week, darling Carrie!
xoxo
pretty ~ i feel sooooo horriable for saying it - but i don't think i'm liken' any tooo much .. maybe b/c i like LONG or above the knee (not trampy above the knee, but above) .. i'm short - so below the knee just cuts me off :o(

It's the perfect length because it's flattering to everyone, and it's appropriate for most occasion. I don't usually like prints but this years I have been pleasantly surprised!
ReplyDeleteLove the Day Birger et Mikkelsen dress. What a dreamy color!
ReplyDeleteHave a fab week Carrie!

ReplyDeleteOh I love the Erin Fetherston dress- yay for ruffles! Happy Monday :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of the knee length dress- its a timeless hem line, I think.
ReplyDeleteReally love all the patterns and prints on these dresses!
ReplyDeleteFab post!! These are all beautiful!

For Tea? I would have to go with the black and white polka dot with the BIG bow :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post, CC! Typically, we only really call out mini or maxi dresses. I am IN love with that Chris Benz dress. Now if only I had $2,000 to drop on it!
ReplyDeletexo, becs
I love knee length dresses. Very flattering length in my opinion! Maybe a little matronly for some, but I think the look is flattering on most figures
ReplyDeleteAs usual....I'll take the Barbara Tfank dress. And I don't care what anybody says, for the overall population, knee lenght dresses are the most flattering...having just come back from Las Vegas and seeing all kinds of women in micro minis who shouldn't have been wearing them.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely don the Diane von Furstenberg Layly Dress. What a stunning piece!! :)
ReplyDeleteLoving all the fun patterns!

I love this style of dress. My favorit is the DVF Layly!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me who finds it weird that knee-length dresses are a quaint and novel option these days when they used to be the norm? I think I've become too used to seeing minidresses and high hemlines. Anyway, beautiful pieces you've highlighted in this post, CC--as always. :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch cute dresses!
ReplyDeleteMuy buen trabajo.........como siempre.
ReplyDeleteTengo que hacer una pollera en punto y no encuentro el modelo adecuado, voy a revisar en tus posteos anteriores, después te cuento.

Great dresses!;)
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous. Though I'm a mini dress person, mostly because knee length dresses on me are usually: 1) not knee length but more like calf length and 2) even if they are it definitely shortens me!
ReplyDeleteHmm, the longer hemline is surprisingly refreshing! I like that black-and-white polka dot one!
ReplyDeleteStunning! I love that knee-length can be so sexy too. Perfect :)
ReplyDeleteDVF...I looooooove you!
ReplyDeleteI am loving that hems are going longer...A little bit more forgiving to thighs and long enough to bare arms and collar bones!

I really like the body-hugging Chinese Qi Pao dress. The patterns are great.
ReplyDeleteThis has been the ideal length for me lately. At the same time, I've had the hardest time finding the perfect dress! You're tempting me (as always)!!
ReplyDeleteI echo Elisa @ Globetrotting... it's super flattering and i'm really loving the print trend. Will probably indulge but on one that won't break the bank! Like this one at reFINEstyle: http://tinyurl.com/3aepp6h
ReplyDeleteWow I don't have any dress like this but I might try to buy one ! Maybe the bodycon one . Haha .
