  6. I find the 1-shoulder dress terribly difficult to wear, which is probably the reason my favourite is the Carolina Herrera. (Are you sure the light blue is Temperley? I thought I saw this dress in an Michael Kors' ad, but I might be confused, or they are just very similar). x

  19. So glad Herve Ledger finally sorted out a way to make that fabulous bandage dress without the bandages looking like unflattering horizontal stripes! Asymitrical Bandage dress takes it to a whole new level and just made him a genius in my book! So simple yet so chic!

  20. What a beautiful blog you keep here...

I don't know where all those designers are based, but today's post does have that all-American pared-down look.

American fashion looks very "wearable" but tends to be ... well, not that adventurous... know what I mean?

  22. Such a stunning idea for a post, CC - I am incapable of resisting asymmetrical anything. Chanel Couture - hello darling!! :)

  54. Now here is a trend that I can relate to. I have always found something rather unnatural about perfect symmetry. These dresses do such wonders for the female form. I have a couple of them, and I always feel so good about wearing them. It's a bit tricky to accessorize them just right, though.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Gorgeous! I love the Grecian inspiration behind the asymmetrical designs. The Couture versions are of course phenomenal, but I also like the light Oscar de la Renta one and the more edgy Preen piece!

  56. Interesting post... Some of these dresses are so beautiful.
