I LOVE this look! I used to dress like this in college and I think I'll go back to it when I retire. I want to draw inspiration from Vivienne Westwood, Betsey Johnson, and Patricia Field. Forget about aging gracefully...I wanna age playfully!

Love the vibrant colors! Mix & match can definitely be hit or miss but I think these are all right on!
ReplyDeleteI think the trend is fab and though it looks easy just to throw on mismatched pieces, its probably even harder because the pieces still have to correlate somehow. Love love love it though especially, Alexandre Herchcovitch, John Patrick, Jason Wu and Duro Oluwo... The Nicole Farhi looks like a jumpsuit I bought in Miss selfridge a couple of years ago

I'm loving the fact that fashion has changed to anything goes. I wonder how much influence patricia fields and Sex and the City had on this. Mixing prints, wearing white all year round, black with brown, blah, blah, blah. I'm surprised we lassoed ourselves into so many constrictions for so long!
ReplyDeleteLove the Moschino! Tres adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteXx
I wish I was brave enough to try this myself.
ReplyDeleteOooh they are all so colourful - mix and match is so cool - but you do have to be a bit brave!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your lovely comment dearest, so sorry for the insanely late reply!
