Dear Carrie ... one of your best and most creative posts. A beautiful woman cradling, caressing and breathing life into instrument is almost too much for me.
ReplyDeleteOf course you played. You should pick it back up.
Given the choice between my piano and my pumps, well I could more easily live with with flat shoes than without flat notes.

You are giving me some great ideas for a photoshoot CC. I missed ya yesterday =) xoxo

ReplyDeleteI love these pictures- though I know from experience that playing a wind instrument is not the best idea with lipstick!
ReplyDeleteThose Viktor & Rolf pieces look amazing, if a little tricky to wear!
That British Vogue, September 2008 shot is so glam- if only my piano were so shiny!

Ah music, the food for the soul! I love the makeup from that backstage at Versace photo, it looks so liquid and sexy, which totally embodies that musician aesthetic. The japanese vogue shot is very cool too, I just want to reproduce it on myself lol.

ReplyDeleteDear Carrie, I am back in New York and find myslef having to say sorry for the fact that the wonderful Godiva chocolates box never reached you. I have my hubby to blame, who had your package in the back of the car for many weeks, before he realised that he absolutely forgot to bring it to the Post Office. Since the box was sitting for such a long time he thought that the chocolates may not be adable any more and decided to wait until I got back. He never mentioned anything over the phone, did not want to upset me. Just want to let you know that now that I am back a very fresh box of Godiva chocolates will be on its way to you by this weekend. Thank you so very much for your kindness and understanding. I missed your wonderful Blog and very happy to be back! I have a lot of catching up to do :-))).
ReplyDeleteFabulous theme!!! love it :)
