I'm in love with zippers, lace, and stubs! I really into wearing boots this fall because there are so many cool new trends!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! A strong-shouldered jk is the must-have for the season! (I'm working on a DIY for turning a regular mandarin-collared jacket into a sharp-shouldered military jacket a a la Balmain...def. check out my blog below!)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Couture Carrie, for the inspiration!

Imágenes a raudales! Moda, en definitiva, arte.
ReplyDeleteSaludos
I wish I could afford the Balmain stuff - SO expensive!
ReplyDeleteI really like the tough shoulder; I got a lovely blazer from Zara with hard shoulders that I'm wearing right now! =)
Tube Scarves all the way. I have no qualms about defending their fashionable power - j'adore! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving oversize sweaters, skinny jeans, tailored blazers, motorcycle jackets, and platform pumps.
ReplyDeleteAmazing pictures!!! I absolutely love that last pair of boots & love that leather jacket in the 4th to last pic! Fabulous post!!

Strong shoulders, lace, velvet and leather. I did DIY on an old t-shirt and it came out so fab. Fun, fun.
ReplyDeleteam I the only one that's had enough of this harsh-fierce-metal balmain trend?
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, I like the jackets.
ReplyDeleteOMG the first dress is to die for.
ReplyDeleteNow you KNOW I love this!!!! BAAALMAAIN <3
ReplyDeletexoxox
Love all of this. And of course, my favorite is Dsquared2. =D
ReplyDeletei love the goth style...
ReplyDeletei love the second dress!bisous
It's all about the shoulders this season. Strong, attention-grabbing '80s chic combined with a shorter hemline in the skirt that is easily and effortlessly paired with opaque tights and ankle booties.
ReplyDeleteSensational!
That's what this bargainer has her eye on in regards to 'trending' right now.

I love the 80's rocker chic look the most. What's most funny? Even though I've always loved MOST of the eighties fall trends, I told myself that I would NEVER buy a pair of skinny jeans! Guess what? I recently bought a pair! So yes I'm really loving this trend at the moment...
ReplyDeleteBtw, the commenting problem on my blog was recently fixed.

Oh CC dear, I love all the Balmain picks! They're fabulous:)
ReplyDeletei love the jackets you posted!

I like stud and zipper detail. I have very small frame so a strong shoudered jacket makes me look a little weird.
ReplyDeleteI love that Balmain jacket...I'm not a huge Balmain fan, but this leahter motorcycle jacket is cooool!
ReplyDeleteX♥X♥
This season I like most Oscar de la Renta. He always designs very elegant and feminine clothes! I really love him!
ReplyDeleteahhhhhhh, you have no idea how much i'm craving a balmain blazer right now!!!! xD hehe those zippers are sooo chic as well :)))
ReplyDelete~XOXO, lulu ♥
P.S. i've tagged you in this post dear!!! http://lulu124.blogspot.com/2009/08/10-things-about-me.html
Wonderful runway photos! Thank You for sharing!! I am in awe. The jackets are simply amazing. Being a huge fan of biker jackets, strong shouldered jackets and blazers, I loved looking at these photos. Wish I could wear them all year long. Paired with some boots and either mini dress or denim, loove!!
ReplyDeleteMy fave is the biker jacket, more subtle !
ReplyDeleteZeal - what a fab word and theme for a post.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw these pointy shoulders all I could think of was a mobster's wife. BUUUT they have totally grown on me. I even tried one on in Soho the other day and they look even better on. They really give a beautiful silhouette. I'm sold. No more mobtser wife haha
ReplyDeletenice spread glam to casual
ReplyDeleteblack and metal is always right!
I am LOVING Balmain! It's really a beautiful collection.
ReplyDeleteI love those shoulders- especially Enikő on the first photo, she's gorgeous!
ReplyDeletehave a lovely weekend, dearest CC!
xoxo
I want the magenta hat.
ReplyDeleteloved this entry! :) my fave trends for fall are dark eyes and dark lips, leather (in the form of dresses, jackets and boots but NOT shorts or pants), short hemlines, layering a la dsquared2 fall 2009...and that's all i can think of at the moment...oh, and tailored ladylike dressing--which is always in. :)
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!!!! I want it all! Great post and fabulous pictures.I love the jeans photo. xo, Betsy
ReplyDeleteMini dresses are my favorite. I love your posts ♥
ReplyDeleteI love over-the-knee boots!
ReplyDeleteHow inspiring your blog is... I love studying the pictures you select and post. Sidenote: the dress in the first image almost looks like the one I am currently wearing!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous trends, but oddly enough I'm not wearing any of them. The only trend I'm totally zealous about is PLAID!!

Great looks here! I want a pair of those zipper boots. You know, there is a really fabulous DIY there to replicate those boots. I'm not sure how to do it but I have a feeling I might be seeing a crafty blogger or two try to attempt it soon. :P
ReplyDeletePeak-shoulders are nice. Giant football shoulders are not. I like a subtle, non-witchy-pointy shoulder myself. I like Balmain now (whereas I used to despise the poorgeois look)... Sequins are always good in my book, however.
ReplyDeletei LOVE the runway models with the coffee cups!
ReplyDeleteps i answered your questions on my blog! xo
What I wouldn't give for a Balmain piece. Especially the sequin minidress!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love Balmain so much. What I would give for a fabulous Balmain jacket! =)
ReplyDeleteDef strong shoulders, lace and lots of layers with different prints and textures! J xxx
ReplyDeleteCC what is zeal?? i love the padded shoulder jackets tho!!
ReplyDeleteu changed the main picture of ur blog, right? it's lovely. awww and BALMAIN is my religion!!! :p
ReplyDeletekisses
I've read some negative reviews/posts of the Dsquared2's Fall Collection, but I like the lumberjack-inspired twist with the plaid accents and hats, just as long as it doesn't go overboard into "trashy". also love the peak-shouldered leather jacket, sequined dress and zippered boots. the boots are to die for. ah Balmain...
ReplyDeleteI love the metallics!
ReplyDeleteMe encantan la chaqueta de piel y las botas de cremalleras.

ReplyDeleteI like the layering look... good for California too... as the day gets hotter and hotter we can strip off a layer! However then the "look" is gone... le sigh!
ReplyDeleteENJOY your Sunday!
