Mad Men Mania

CC’s crush on Betty Draper and Joan Holloway’s early-60s style is in full swing, darlings!
In this post, see how to channel the doting housewife and sexy secretary looks. Of course, one could troll the thrift and vintage shops for truly vintage pieces, but modern vintage-inspired pieces are equally alluring!

  1. I gotta say that I love this 50s mania that has taken over but I'm way more excited to see the 1940s trend that was brought on by Prada this last season.

Other than that, I love the make-up that this 50s fascination has brought on. Bright red lips. It couldn't get much better.

  14. It's actually an early 60s moment. And I've always loved this time period-- it was the movement of silhouettes from New Look to slim sheath a la Jackie O.

Wait for tomorrow, I'm scanning my Movie Magazines from 1943 and 1956 :) and posting it on my blog, super cool!
