ReplyDeleteWow. These are really cool. I hope your week has started off well. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteFab as always :) I love how over-the-top some of these are! I adore the blugirl one.
ReplyDeleteCapes are one of my favorite womenswear garments for fall this year. There is something so elegant, glamorous and retro about them that I can't resist! My favorite is the Gaspard Yurchievich pleated cape. It is so simple and understated, but the pleating and cut make it interesting. I love the Diesel cape, the Fornarina capelet and the Marni look as well.

Hey bellisima, one of my fave posts. Ever. Love capes, always have. I would wear them to the supermarket.....why the hell not. And especially adore the ones by Vivenne Westwood and Diesel. Hello Diesel cape, I love you. Marry me?

Xx
the cape looks really great! :)

I've really come to love capes. Some years ago, I hated them because of my dislike for ponchos, but boy do I love capes now!
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for capes. I bought a very nice and warm one from Express last season. I get compliments on it all the time. I will have to post it closer once the temperature starts dropping!
ReplyDeleteMmmm I am loving those shapes, lovely coats.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! These will help inspire some outfits for Fall...My sweet neighbour had me over a few months ago and gave me her little fur cape -- she said that she was too old to sport it the way it ought to be and that I would probably get more use out of it. I nearly fell over!
ReplyDeletecapes and long gloves... love it for fall! xo
ReplyDeleteSuch a fan of capes- wonderful post.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely capes this season! With capes, you have to be careful in how you wear them. If you are short and / or curvy, a short cape won't work, but a long flowy one can look amazing. I love how many different looks can be created with capes. Add the multitudes of textures, and you have a cape for just about any occasion. I personally dig the blue Marc Jacobs long-ish flowing cape, with dark blue detailing. For a more streamlined and classic look, the Elizabeth and James City number is to die for!
ReplyDeleteomg i totally want that super woman cape!! so unique! hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI adore the second one, the Christian Lacroix one, and the last two :)
ReplyDeleteI've always loved wearing capes, more people should try them, they really are great!
