ReplyDeletethese skirts are so gorgeous.... most patterned skirts never suit my body type.... hope to go shopping for one this summer though....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! This is one of those trends I adore with all my heart. There were some amazing examples at London fashion week, Autumn-Winter 2009. Have a look at Erdem, Mary Katrantzou and Basso & Brooke
ReplyDeletexxx
Love patterned skirts with high waist!
ReplyDeletexx
pattern skirts. Def a must have. Especially that knee length sequined one.
ReplyDeleteWow! Cannot say I like one over the other, all of them are lovely. Great selection, this summer and coming fall will be skirts only seasons. I've been wearing a couple of maxi skirts from Rick Owens and cannot believe how comfortable they are. They carry from day to evening so easily. Cannot wait to look up some of your choices. Great post!
ReplyDeleteCool printed skirts for women, I am feeling very up on the latest trends! Cheers!!
ReplyDeleteyes! there were a LOT of patterned skirts! now I only need to find one! :)
ReplyDeleteHi there-what gorgeous skirts, a lovely selection, I love the Rachel Roy one best!!
ReplyDeleteCC, you've always got the best selection of trends and then all the choices to go with them. I hope you're aware that you're an utter inspiration, with your wonderful choices being somewhat a blog bible of what to wear. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThese are cute, I especially like the ones with fun silhouettes. Unfortunately, most of us cant pull of the crazy hip-padding pleating, but they are certainly fun!
ReplyDeleteall of them are my perfect pattern. lol
ReplyDeleteI just bought one from F21

ReplyDeleteDVF, just add a few more ruffles on the bottome and it's mine!
ReplyDeleteThose skirts are so beautiful. I especially love the floral ones and the coral striped one. Now I want to go shopping so bad. LOL. Maybe I'll just stick with some online window shopping during lunch break. ;)

ReplyDeletei'm REALLY loving christopher kane's bizarro-prints. that skirt is cool!
ReplyDeletewhat's nice about patterned skirts is that they come in a variety of price points to fit every budget. i mean, i've seen some that look amazingly high-end from places like target and urban outfitters, for example.
this reminds me, i ought to get a printed skirt...i don't think i own a single one!
Love the black and white Michael Kors skirt! beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh my Gosh, there are so many looks I totally adore! Great picks, Carrie!

ReplyDeleteOMG I love this "print selection " !
ReplyDeleteYou always have great idea !
yes please!! skirt + patterns sooo sexy & cool!!
ReplyDeleteI love all those skirts at the end. I'm on the look out for skirts these days. I prefer subtle patterns on skirts.
ReplyDeleteI find it hard to find prints that I like - I'm not a huge floral fan, so most of my clothes tend to be plain. These are lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving patterned skirts! Especially because they're so fun on their own even with a simple white tee!
ReplyDeleteIf you think you love the new Resort collections from a lot of the designers you should check out the Spring/Summer 2009 collection for ADAM by Adam Lippes because he has so many great patterned skirts for right now...and, the best part is, they're on SALE!
Plus, if you join their e-mail list then they keep you up to date with sales and offers!

Hey Carrie
ReplyDeleteI hope all is well :-D
A GORGEOUS collection as always! I love pattern skirts - but I only own two of them.... And this "Summer" is so poor that I'm looking forward the FW collections already - in JUNE! Can you imagine? What's going on here? Maybe it's because we all didn't wear our pattern skirts this Spring/early Summer!? Let's put them all out and wear them together so maybe the force will bring the Summer back to Germany ;)
much love, sofie
I adore these looks! especially with something simple on top like a black or white tank. I love summer bc I get to bust out all the bright colors that I hide from in winter....I'm usually an all-black kind of girl.
ReplyDeletebtw, stop over by my blog today...there's a little something for you there:)
oh i love good patterned skirt! im dying for a dvf one with tons of print. well done on reporting on a major summer and resort trend dear!skirts are getting more and more clever.

Not for wall flowers or the faint of heart! I especially admire the girls who can pair one of these doozies with a contrasting patterned top!
ReplyDeleteI've been on a hunt for summer skirts lately! Those full ones with the little waist-cinching panel are such perfect staples -- I need more! Though I think that flouncy Erdem one is about push me into a whole new obsession with tea-length skirts...
ReplyDeletePrinted skirts are definitely the thing for me, since I don't really like anything plain. I love the kind of abstract print of the first one.
ReplyDeleteI loveeee.
ReplyDeleteSo many GORGEOUS skirts! The Donna Karan, Brian Reyes & Erdem skirts are my fave, stunning! :)
ReplyDeletexx
These are amazing! I love how the fun patterns can still be dressed up or down depending on the needs of the wearer. I absolutely adore the Chris Benz and Michael Kors skirts...so chic, yet funky! I also love the Karen Millen gingham skirt. The structure is insanely creative.
ReplyDeleteThose are some gorgeous skirts!! I love the flirty ruffled ones.
ReplyDeleteJust a little thank you on my blog!!
