Fresh Crop

Fear not, darlings! There is no need to bare your midriff (unless, that is, you are going to the beach)! Take these looks as suggestions on how to layer, and consider (a) a crop top over a basic white tank; (b) a cropped jacket with a summer dress; or (c) a mini waistcoat as a layering piece.

  9. Heya CC! I love the new way you've put the descriptions - makes it much easier to tell what's what.

Crops are fantastic, and I hadn't had the guts to wear one yet, but I think with the inspiration you've provided I'll be able to wear one without being too indecent! xx Leia

My study is all about real estate, family law and corporations now, but i'm going to make a switch next year; i want to study Information law; everything around and about information; copyright, law and art, law and brands, patent law, etc. Looks like a bridgde from the boring area to the magazinesworld to me, doesn't it?

  36. I must admit that the cropped vest Helena is wearing can be very frightening if one hasn't visited the gym! ;)

However, the Michael Kors and Chloe are my favorite looks.

    Great post!

  37. love the short jacket look....feminine fashion is defined with them. Longer the arms on the wearer the better. e.g. the leather (brown)jacket above is perfect!

  61. I am so not impressed with this look and I hope that the trend is over soon. One season of this will be enough.

  62. I HOPE THE CROP TOPS SHOWING BARE SKIN BELOW DON'T TURN INTO TOO MUCH OF A TREND, I REALLY DON'T LIKE THEM, I DONT THINK THEY LOOK FLATTERING.

  64. Nice pics, but not a fan of the crop style. Maybe putting a tank underneath would help though. I did like the cropped white shirt with the pencil skirt...however, one would have to be quite skinny to pull it off!
