    The shells (scallops shells that is) take me back to 1999 when I did part of the Santiago de Compostela pilgimage .. the symbol being a shell. The whole road is marked with shells that point to your destination. Beautiful inspiration for fashion too.

    Love the shell jewelry! When my sister and I were kids we used to go on the longest walks on the beach with my dad and find shells until our necks hurt from looking down the hours we we walked. We always brought home loads of shells from the Jersey shore and my mom was supposed to turn them into jewelry but that never happened! I'm sure they've since thrown out those shells!
