How do you feel about this pajama party, darlings? CC is ready for a pillow fight!

Tagged by the lovely Laura of Under the Sheets – Shhh to respond to and rework the following interview… CC has done this tag in another incarnation (click here if you are really bored), but the questionnaire has evolved, as have CC’s answers!

What are your current obsessions?
Pearl and safety pin necklaces… am hoping to DIY it like this one pictured at right by Fellow Fashionista Amy!; cuffed shorts [that's a page from CC's sketchbook above]; the perfect pillow-top mattress; and henna tattoos.

Good fika place? (That would be coffee to us non-Swedes)
the Starbucks in West Hartford Center, for its cosy armchairs and outdoor seating.

What’s for breakfast?
Steel cut oatmeal with bananas and strawberries & French pressed coffee.

What was the last thing you bought?
This Alexander McQueen for Target J-suit

What are you listening to right now?
Sufjan Stevens, Annie Lennox, LCD Soundsystem, Annie Lennox and Au Revoir Simone.

What is your favorite color and why?
Lavender, for its calming capabilities and associated scent.

What’s on your desk?
2 computers, speakers, a mug full of pencils and pens, a stack of Post-Its, a cup of Green tea, and a little bowl with bits and bobs like lip gloss, gum, and paper clips.

Say something to the person/s who tagged you.
Laura ~ you are so fabulously creative and intelligent – I have really enjoyed getting to know you through your blog!

If you could have a vacation home totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you want it to be?
On Aspen Mountain.

Favourite spot to relax?
The beach on Fire Island.

Name 5 things you can’t live without. Cappuccino. Couture. Literature. Love. Lettuce.

What would you like to have in your hands right now?
Freshly picked raspberries, with or without champagne.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Jamoca almond fudge.

What would you like to get rid of?
My “eleven” – you know, those 2 pesky little lines between the brows that could probably be eradicated, at least temporarily, by a bit of Reloxin, the new wonder drug!

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
Topshop in NYC.

What did you want to become as a child?
A gymnast or a writer.

Where would you like to be in five years?
Living in a mansion with my fabulous husband and at least two gorgeous Gordon Setters.

What are you reading right now?
The poetry of Frank O’Hara and the new Vanity Fair.

What's your favorite brand of jeans? J Brand.

What designer piece of clothing would you most like to own (new or vintage)?
I would adore a poufy Giambattista Valli dress, a Balmain blazer, or a vintage Lanvin dress – I actually own this one pictured at left from Ete 2007... I bought it at the Barneys Warehouse Sale a few years back and have no clue how to style it - it's gorgeous but backless and tres short!

CC is tagging ALL of her Fellow Fashionistas to rework, reword, revamp, and answer these fabulous queries – enjoy, darlings! Can’t wait to see your answers!

xoxox,
CC

Hi CC,

What a lovely post!

I am timid, because I don't wear my pyjamas on the street. :) BUT I like them on the catwalk...

Have a great Sunday

J'adore the Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent Deep-V Jumpshort - the color is breathtaking.

Ooh, when I was in fourth grade I went through the biggest gymnastics phase - I honestly thought I would become a gymnast. Two weeks after the Olympics I tired of it and went back to thoughts of being a veterinarian. :)

The PJ look is a difficult one to carry off! Maybe it was inspired by women from Liverpool who tend to spend all day in their pyjamas and go everywhere in them! I love that pearl and safety pin necklace - I fancy having a go at that! :) x

Lovely post! Great find for an easy DIY on the safety pin necklace.

What's neat about your post is that I actually wore my nightgown to work today. I let it hang a little from under my mini dress. I've gotten many compliments on my cool "lacy dress!" HA! Thanks for sharing.
