Great fashions - I'm all about casual!
ReplyDeleteGrey is my favourite colour too even though it may sound boring. But it looks good on me. And it suits my blue-eyed and dark-haired husband too.
ReplyDeleteI like your posts too but sometimes it's hard to see which text belongs to which picture. :-)
PS. Do you go to Columbia university? Isn't that picture from there? Been there on my trips to New York.
ReplyDeleteLove this post--all these images are so delectable!
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos I love the ones you pick for your blog! And good luck with grad school! I'm so glad I don't have to worry about it for another few years =)
ReplyDeleteAgain, great selection on the photos with the topic. Though we all love and adore the overtness and ferocity of high fashion, I think it's safe to say that everyone loves dressing casual, but looking super chic at the same time. "Effortless chic" I like to call it. Arlenis looks menacing in that A.Wang grey jersey mini, and the girls (Kebede, Poly) look amazingly comfortable and fashionable in that Vogue spread.

Weeeeeird. I was gonna buy that dress from Shopbop (the long tie-die one) and though I thought the length would make me look stumpy (cuz I AM stumpy), I would cut it off at the knees.
ReplyDeleteThen I remembered my no-shopping ban so i didn't buy it :P
PS North by Northwest is one of my top ten faves. Hitchcock is my favourite director and Vertigo is actually my favourite film (North comes in at number 5 I believe)

I wish you fabulous evening!
I love this style. My favorite so far!
ReplyDeleteHey CC,
ReplyDeleteI believe it was Ralph Lauren Black Label that did a line with items in sweatshirt material also. I remember seeing this shift dress and jacket that was to die for. The cut was perfect and you didn't know it was ss material until you touched it! It was out of my price range, but hindsight is 20/20, I should have purchased that ensemble. Oh well!
I <3 the sparkle dust and fantasy outfit!
ReplyDeleteI love how wearable all of today's outfits are!
