ReplyDeleteDefinitly a DIY project! Better post about your fab creation!
ReplyDeleteI love Salvatore Ferragamo's look, and fab jeans!
ReplyDeletexx
oh, believe me, the ripped trend will be finding it's way into my wardrobe for sure! and it's so nice that it's easy to DIY...my old jeans won't see this coming.
ReplyDeletei would diy first! ive seen several on the blogs that came out amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love it. I don't know if I could pull off this torn look but girls can! Plus, it is such an excuse for an arts and crafts project!
ReplyDeleteI would diy definitely. Ugh, that model (Ali Stephens) in the Chanel tweed skirt looks horrendous!! lol
ReplyDeleteI'm not loving the ripped jeans look, but I love that Nina Ricci dress - it's so moody, it's great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my blog, I'm glad you took my comments well instead of as offensive!
rip tee and jeans are definitely diy worthy. i don't know if torn chanel jacket is that cool. maybe only in theory!
ReplyDeletei just had a good feeling with this post am love ripped things, love the wang, true religions jean (looking for a great pair) and the Maison Martin Margiela. fab post dear!!!

Some of these you can definately do yourself! Others might be better to buy prossionally done, but experimentation is definately fun too!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post, CC!
ReplyDeleteI am a really in love with ripped jeans!
FM
DIY all the way, some of the bloggers have made some pretty amazing creations!
ReplyDeletei think definitely DIY, it can be done easily because you aren't trying to make anything look neat or perfect!
ReplyDeleteHow much can I love this ?!
ReplyDeleteThe Wang, the Nina Ricci... looove it !
And it's such an extatic moment, when you ' grungize ' or rip or... well I LOOOVE doing that, especially with tights... better than a punching ball xD.
Wish to see some DIY then !!
I love Zac Posen's cut ...
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing about DIY for me is I say to myself I can make it, but I never get around to doing it. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you come up with!
It's cool for rock chic gals but not for me I would just look like I'd had an accident even with the Chanel jacket!
ReplyDeleteI love that alexander wang jumper!!!
ReplyDeleteI love how some people area layering the distressed look with something completely structural and very much intact underneath. aka. Chris Benz above.

I'd love to see a DIY of these ripped items, destroying clothes is fun!
ReplyDeleteDIY for certain-at least on the bigger investment looks/pieces.
ReplyDeleteI had the ripped up true religion jeans the first time they came out with them like 5 years ago-and I LOVED AND LIVED in them until the horizontal threads were all broken and the knees entirely blown out. I have a feeling you'd get at least as much wear out of the current ripped skinny jean thang.

ReplyDeletethe AW sweater is to die for.
