Trousers come in many shapes and sizes these days, so if the runways are any indication, there really is something for everyone (and perhaps some things for no one!).
Tell CC, regarding runway styles: love them or hate them?

i never really wear trousers - i just don't really feel like myself, i suppose! i do love the tucked-into-shoes look at nina ricci though - not that i'd ever have the courage to go out looking like that :D

ReplyDeleteI am a HUGE fan of pants! And I have them sooo many, almost as a dress, hahahah, wide leg, slim, short, long... almost every colour and materials (except pink!)... :)
I'm adore a arabic pant. From your post, I like a Dolce and Gabbana line, wide leg via Harper's UK, and Charles Nolan. Absolutely beautiful story...
FM
I love pants and love the new shapes: skinnies, wide-legs, carrot-top, cropped, cuff......
ReplyDeleteI just didn't try the harem ones, but I'm pretty much wishing it.
Great, great post, my darling.

ReplyDeleteFun fun!The Hermes pants are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteHola!
ReplyDeleteGraciias =)
Me encantan los pantalones pitillo, creo que son los que mejor me sientan... los harem también me gustan mucho, pero no he encontrado unos que me queden bien, así que lo mismo me los hago yo jeje
1beso!!

i really need to buy a pair of non-jeans asap!

FELIZ 2009! yo me quedo con los leggins de cuero y los pantalones al tobillo de D&G para llevar con botines, besos
ReplyDeleteI am so in love with the D&G ads ...mostly because I never think to pair brown with that tweed AND IT LOOKS SO GREAT!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I am all for tailored pants. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year for tomorrow! x
CC,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind message after my father passed away. Things have started to settle down and I think I am ready to start blogging again to take my mind off things and reconnect with the fashion world by reading your daily posts.
One of the pics of a multi colored pair of pants from Elle I once sewed. I had a bunch of fabric of the same print. They didn't look as good on me as that model though.
Carrie! I love this look so much! I don't know if I mentioned it on your blog or another but I am dying for a vintage pair of early 1980's ralph lauren safari bands with a cuff on the bottom:) You always know how to pick the photos! For everyone I was like, "yes! Yes!"
ReplyDeleteWonderful.
love that drawing and all the pants you showed. I need to get more creative with pants. I always seem to buy the same type of pants.
ReplyDeleteCool picks, I quite like the styling of the Hermes, very summer resort. The pants tucked into your shoes thing I'm definitely not liking, too weird for me.
ReplyDeleteHi......
ReplyDeleteKeep posting.... Wishing you " A Happy New Year''
wow those giant hip pants! lolol
ReplyDeletei still love my skinnies all the way <3
i like the look of dropcrotch but i think they would make me look shorter!
I love.
ReplyDeletei so love the last ones.. of orphan age (?) well the D&G ones are awesome also and i so love the ones from agatha ruiz de la prada.. they seem So original!
ReplyDeletewow great pants! pants are the best invention ever!
ReplyDeletei'm not a big fan of wide leg trousers. certain people can pull it off, but i'll stick with my skinnies.
ReplyDeleteYeah i'm really excited about the project too, it was lego all the way for me also! Weeee for legos'!
ReplyDeleteI gave a chuckle when i saw Ágatha Ruíz de la Prada's design, but a nice collage of inspiration. I've been meaning to don some pants (havn't since mid year on account i've put on the kilos lol) so this is really great! :"D
I love pants, but I can never find ones that fit very well. The runway styles are usually a tad too extreme for me, but I really like those ruffly Doo.ri ones.
ReplyDeleteohyes. i love some of those pants, but the really wide pants just really arnt for me. :D
ReplyDeletexx.
Really cool post CC! I really love your blog. I always find such great things here! :) Stay strong!
ReplyDeleteoh, love it.
ReplyDeleteI just wish I had somewhere to wear the Chloes! Right now for me, the wider the better! Fun post! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeletexox
Love, love, love the skinny silhouette ! And love it with leather !
ReplyDeleteI adore D&G ads - and those pants are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteGreat selections, as always :)
xo, and I hope you New Years is amazing!
wearing my black cropped pants today. with new dg leopard pumps. ugh. too fabulous for work.
ReplyDeleteThat sketch is really, really good. And of course I adore the D&G, the tweed suits they made for F/W 08 are stunning! Although I have to say, I'm really not a fan of harem pants.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I'm a fan of trousers.
ReplyDeleteI love how every season pants always get reworked. I honestly can't let go of skinny jeans still. So, I'm praying that the stay in style.
ReplyDeleteThose Nina Ricci one's are beyond amazing! I never noticed that they were tucked into the shoes before.
Do you happen to kno the name of the guy in the picture next to them? He's really start to pop up every, and I honestly don't know him. <3
I love those Gucci outfits!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year:)
