Hefty, Hefty, Hefty!

Every Sunday, CC takes the trash out to the curb.
CC notes today the odd (and, daresay, alluring) similarity between a garbage bag and these designs, many of which are quite lovely and wearable, despite the potentially negative association.

  4. Good one, Carrie!

There are some fascinating looks here, and I love the shiny black fabric, but you're right, the looks still resemble garbage bags.

  6. I hadn't noticed before. I'm not sure if I would had done or not, but you're right.
particularly the first dress you display. It blooms out, just like a bin liner bag.

  7. I never know what to think with the trash bag looking garments, they sometimes look quite good on the catwalk...but then I think they would never look that fantastic in a real situation!

  19. SO BEAUTIFUL, CC!! Got your letter; beautifull watercolor, you hidden artist, lovely caligraphy: SO delicate, beautifull inside of the envelope, beautifull stamps, (The cinderella is not too bad, but the Duke Ellington one rocks!)
    And so are the "pegatinas",
    Of course, beautifull detail, CC.

By the way: A LV rubish bag IT IS frivolity, I am afraid... jajaja! :)))

Muy buena asociación la que has hecho en este post, como siempre.

Many, many thanks, CC. Send me pics when you get those framed.

  20. I think it depends on the style and material.. Some of them are too trash bag-y, whereas others are head-turning..

I'm not against it if the material looks good..
