Something Fishy

Designers are certainly tipping the SCALES these days!
Whether with pailettes, feathers, scallops or sequins, things are looking a tad fishy!
CC recalls a similar “mermaid” vibe a few seasons ago at Jean Paul Gaultier Couture (Spring 2008 scaled gown pictured below right).

  1. I'm loving Rock & Republic. I had no idea of it's existance until I saw these boots by R&R in the portuguese Vogue. I'm really starting to like their style.

  14. I was thinking exactly the same thing, did you notice Christopher Kane's Fall 08 collection also had "fish scale" elements? He's one fishy guy ;) haha. Great blog by the way.
