ReplyDeleteI really love this colour. And I think it looks just as good in summer and winter.
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
Hi there!! navy is a gorgeous colour for Autumn, particularly in velvet-another great post, Couture Carrie!!
ReplyDeleteNavy is very savvy for year round unlike black. Adore the Lanvin dress, yummy!
ReplyDeletei love navy!
ReplyDeletei'm glad black+navy is no longer a faux pas (: makes matching things a litttlee easier

ReplyDeleteand thanks for adding to your blogroll too! in detour2mode we also are huge fan of you..waiting for my netvibes feed to show me you added new post!
Ooh...I like!
ReplyDeleteI used to hate navy due to childhood trauma (a pair of awful navy corduroys). Now I'm liking it more as long as it really looks blue and not almost-black.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous, I love navy as an interesting yet understated alternative to black. Love the Valentino dress, oh and the Chloé one is simply a work of art!
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with navy for this fall. I think a lot of people think it's boring or too old so they overlook it but it's really elegant and, like emily said, a great alternative to black! So many people turn to plums and oranges in the autumn, which are great, but navy is just so classic and sets the wearer apart in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteHi! I loved everything. Your blog is totally wonderful. I liked from Luella's dress at Nuj Novakhett's bustier dress. Kisses (K)
ReplyDeleteLa Màs Divina! (K)
I adore navy. It's makes so many of my outfits look clean cut. Lovely pictures as always!
ReplyDeleteI used to HATE all shades of blue until recently. I bought this super cute navy trench earlier this year that is just to-die-for! I get a gazillion compliments whenever I wear it.

xoxo
Navy has always been my go to color, maybe a bit more than black!
ReplyDeleteI swear, I always end up saving half the pictures you post as inspiration. You pick the loveliest things... I dig navy, especially with collars! Something about that combination is perfect and feminine! I need to get more of it instead of just black.
ReplyDeletePS: Read that you reject pictures with too thin models. Love you for it.
it's so weird how a certain color creeps up on you and then you realize half your closet or drawers are full of it. that's me and navy. it's not something i intentionally do but it seems to fit me because i own a lot of navy things. along with grey! have you done a post on grey yet? if not -- maybe a good suggestion?
ReplyDeleteSo true! Navy will be everywhere this season. I love your picks! I especially adore the Abaete and Luella looks. I want a navy maxi and navy peep toe pumps! mmmmm...
ReplyDeleteOooh, this gives me some newfound excitement for the navy in my closet!
ReplyDeleteOhhh beautiful post! I am loving navy so much at the moment, it's so classic.
ReplyDeleteAnd I couldn't agree more about black and navy no longer being a faux pas. I think black and brown look great together too...if it's good enough for the french then we should abandon these outdated rules too! :)
so incredible! bravo!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe wearing navy with black was EVER a fashion faux pas, they just seem so perfect together!

ReplyDeletenavy = my life. I'm wearing a navy dress from DKNY as I type this! My fashion photo portfolio is navy [and I spent a lot of money on that navy leather!] and obviously all of my detailing for my logo/blog is navy. I'm obsessed and I'm glad there are so many navy options for fall!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love! Navy is my favorite color, so I literally want every item that you showcased! Am the Armani pumps...I'm speechless!
ReplyDeletei was thinking about that phillip lim but what i really want is that proenza schouler dress. fie on being poor!
