CC did a ruffle post awhile back, when it seemed that the feminine embellishment was a spring trend, but it seems that ruffles are here to stay, at least through the Autumn/Winter season... And we are pleased as punch!For fall, think sophisticated layers rather than naked mounds of ruffles. Throw a fitted jacket over that ruffled blouse or frock and you're good to go!

ReplyDeleteRuffles are such a structural yet femnine look. I pretty much like everything that you presented here. The Bill Blass and Givenchy are amazing pieces. The only thing that stands out as something I would not wear is that Thayer dress - I feel that I would look like a sausage in it!
