Want the look? ¡Corre! to Neiman Marcus for this delightful D&G tiered silk bolero.
Or tango over to Topshop for this fringed jacket.
If you are willing to take a fashion risk and don the toreador trend more literally, may I suggest Anna Sui’s velvet cape? This photo via elle.com.
And the shoes? ¡Qué fantásticos!

Grab the bull by the horns, ladies!!
I'd buy Christian Lacroix made. If he started to sell crocs, I might even consider wearing them...not!! haha..anyways..I really loved the post girl! it makes m want to be a bullfighter!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Anna Sui's cape. May be just because it's velvet, and I'm having a sort of velvet phase, but I just LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteMe too, F.A.! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMimi - velvet is going to be so hot for fall, so you are ahead of the curve!

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed these shot's! (:
ReplyDeleteThe intricate design on the first outfit is magnificent. And the red bow adds a bit of a feminine touch.
And I love how the model wears the D&G tiered silk bolero! Just darling. ^^
I've always liked this lush and ornate look.
ReplyDeleteHey Matadora Lady,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely comment.
Here he is again, Great Lacroix, olé maestro!!...I have to admit that is too baroque for me, clothes to admire from outside (well, as Haute Couture is, isn't it?), but no doubt he is a genius....and he keeps looking to Spain for inspiration, which is cool and I think really fits in his style philosophy...Lacroix is, for me, passion, personality, individualism, baroque, elegance...and many more I could say that also fit in the country.
I hadn't seen your blog before but I think it's gonna be other "fashion addiction" for me...I'll keep coming and coming. I love it.
You are a GODSEND! I will definitely follow your advice! I must fit in that dress. I'll post pics after the wedding. Also, I'm kind of new to blogging but I love your site. I'd love to add you to my blog roll if you might add me? Let me know. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, truly fabulous pictures!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th to ya1
Bing Bang BOOM!

ReplyDeletees una gran tendencia... aunque en la pasarela luzca muy dramatica, con el look correcto esa pieza es ideal para verte glamourosa.

ReplyDeleteI love the matador-inspired jackets! They're almost too much to handle. There was a Vogue spread featuring Penelope Cruz a while ago, and she had really cool Spanish-culture-inspired outfits. You might want to try Googling it :)

ReplyDeleteI love your themed selections - always so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteAnd how I'd like to have those Louboutins...
The Christian Lacroix second black vest thing is amazing. Such awesome details. This may sound strange, but does it look as though it would be heavy?
