Tell CC, darlings: Does anyone have a land line anymore? Or is it just cell phones as far as the ear can hear? Understandably, the prevalence of the Blackberry and the iPhone have virtually made the receiver retro. Grab that phone and dial, darlings!

  4. Loving that collage from Loft In Soho. And thank you so much for the shout out.

No land line in my abode anymore. It's Blackberry all the way for me. Though I will admit, I do love vintage telephones, and would love them as decorative pieces throughout the house! :)

  6. What a fun post! I'vw always wanted my own landline phone -the old fashioned kind -in my room, so I could talk on the phone with my girlfriends and twist the cord around my fingers like they do in movies! :)

  9. Lovely photos. I no longer have a land line (a girl saves money going without this luxury). I actually miss having a land line and gabbing on a normal-size phone. Sometimes I crave a phone with a cord, just so I can twirl my finger around it while chatting. I love cell phones though. They're so cute and handy. =)

  14. Chere CC ...

Loving the Vogue 75 Jersey-Chick-Eye-Shadow-Blue handset with the pig-tail cord. God I want that phone. And the models eyes are pretty smashing too.

Wonderful theme, I don't know how you continue to find new seams and not repeat yourself.

    Have a lovely day.

  21. I have actually been on the hunt for a good spin dial telephone for quite a while now. I know wireless ones are probably more convenient, but I like the weight and wire, it makes you actually sit down and have a conversation over the phone instead of doing other things whilst talking. That Vogue 1975 cover is so amazing!! And loving the 2005 Russian Vogue shot. Hope you're having a beautiful weekend :)

  25. Gorgeous images! I hate talking on the phone for more than 5 minutes with anyone, even friends... (I know, I'm horrible). But phones do make for great accessories in photo shoots! I love those old red phone booths - wish we still had them around, even though no one would probably use them!
