6 Fabulous Things & Contest Winner!

I. First things first, darlings! The winner of CC’s Creative Contrast Sir Alistair Rai Scarf Giveaway is the lovely Lady Thirty. Congratulations, darling!
II. Tagged by the lovely Emily of Essential E with listing 6 Things That Make CC Happy:
1) Shoe shopping. New York Look Fall 2008.

CC adores these Chloé anthracite raised leaf boots, at theOutnet.com.
2) Drapey dresses. This Sofie Ølgaard dress from Aspiring Couture is silky perfection, darlings! Luxurious, breathable, and exquisitely crafted. Go to aspiringcouture.com for more amazing one-of-a-kind pieces from up-and-coming designers like Sofie Ølgaard:

“Designer Sofie Ølgaard grew up in Denmark. She draws inspiration from her Scandinavian roots where she creates a look based on the melancholic side of Scandinavian culture combined with playful esthetics. Her style is founded in simplicity and understated detail.” (from Ms. Olgaard’s website). Be sure to check out the Aspiring Couture blog and Sofie Ølgaard’s website.
3) When art and fashion collide. Italian Vogue, June 2006. CC loves Matisse!
Coco Rocha, courtesy Fellow Fashionista Absolutely Fabulous.
4) Fabulous things that begin with the letter “C”, such as cookies, couture, Coco Chanel, cupcakes, corsets and camisoles! CC loves this Free People Butterfly cami from SanityStyle.com. Note the rear peplum detail and the exquisite deep magenta shade! Sanity Style is a truly chic new store, with both brick-and-mortar and online locations... Click here to shop!
5) Mad Men.
If you are not watching this show, you simply must start! The early-60s fashions are so exquisite! And the show itself is masterly written.
Plus, CC has a girl-crush on Christina Hendricks (center).
6) Vintage Inspired Bathing Suits.
Vogue, March 2008.
CC loves this Zelda Sweetwater bikini and...
this Zelda Sweetwater maillot.

These vintage inspired suits are absolutely gorgeous and made in NYC of comfy and durable stretchable cotton ~ how cool is that? What is more, since this Zelda Sweetwater swimsuit is 100% cotton, it can double as a bustier... It even has a back zip and hook and eye closure. CC plans on wearing it for summer evening cocktails with a flirty mini! Shop here.

CC is tagging all of her Fellow Fashionistas; can’t wait to hear your 6 Things, darlings!

xoxox,
CC
