  13. darling this is such a big trend! i noticed a million and one(ok huge exagerration of course ;O) of brands with garments that feature scalloped edges!
    I liked how it was used in the Chloe and Kane collections best.

  14. Ahhh Chloe - I especially love their scallop shorts, as seen on Kate Bosworth. You know, I've never owned a pair of shorts before, I might just bend that rule for them!

    I don't actually have anything scalloped yet - but I think it's a nice, edgy mod take on lace or ruffles :)

  24. I love the scallops. Chloe showed some amazing uses for them, which was not over the top. I absolutely love the Gestuz dress. It is bold and still feminine. I also like the Chrostopher Kane and Versace dresses.

  32. What a cool trend! I think I would either go ultra-girly and do it in the pinky/salmon floaty dresses, or make it edgy-cute with the color blocking Honey Bunny dress. Anything in-between would look a little school-marmish.

  47. I sooooo would love to go to Fashion Week and be a guest! Years ago LA fashion week... I was working it... so it is soooooooo not fun! I should take that partially back... the drinks and party after the show was ok... but I was too tired to really apprciate it... sigh! And LA fashion week is NOTHING like NYC... another sigh!

  51. Wow, so scallops aren't just a tasty garnish for mashed potatoes... they also can completely transform a garment's look! I love the look, something that could be plain is given this subtle girly little touch and suddenly it's romantic and fabulous!
