Awesome Amalgamation

Proliferation, repetition and combination are the names of the game, darlings! More is more, as they say [poor Ludwig Mies van de Rohe would be rolling over in his grave if he knew how often his quip is butchered!].
Spring 2009 is the time to experiment with ruffles, embellishment, and multiple accessories in adventurous shades and shapes. First picture from teenvogue.com. Runway photos courtesy style.com.

Consider layering several necklaces!
Lanvin metal flower necklace; this and next 2 at net-a-porter.com
Tom Binns pearl and safety pin necklace – we can sooooo DIY this!

So pile on the bangles, baubles, and bows, darlings; dabble in patterns and patchwork – anything goes! Amalgamation is tres chic, as demonstrated in this photo by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for W.
