HOT HOT HOT!!! I love over the knee boots, i saw these amazing boots in Guess yesterday but they were too expensive for me right now maybe in a month or two!! Great post!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.hottheels.blogspot.com
Wow. These are all so awesome. I really love that Versace ad. Great post. I loved it. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteYes! Yes! Yes! I adore them all. I finally bought a pair myself...actually, they were supposed to be knee-high, but I'm short, so they go over my knees, and I adore the look! I think that a wide circumference around the knee makes them appear more casual - when it's a legging look it's more sleek. Love this! :)
ReplyDeleteI am so in love-Rodarte and Prada are still my tops-but I wouldn't mind if teh Chloe's came home with me...
ReplyDeleteI wish...I wish...I wish... If only I can justify the purchase of over-the-knee boots, no second thoughts, I'll immediately grab one. But see, it's quite unrealistic for a tropical girl to spend on over-the-knee boots. But I'm really lusting for one... I love the suede wedge boots.
ReplyDeleteLove this look- I have my Chinese Laundry pair that I adore. Though of course, I'd take any of these designer ones too :)
ReplyDeleteLove these looks, Carrie!! I'm feeling them in suede especially, it takes them one step further away from hooker :)
ReplyDeleteNow if only I had model thin legs to put in a pair...sigh!
write it on my shopping list.
ReplyDeleteso so fashionable. I bought a black ones from Biba on the last winter. :-)
ReplyDeleteI feel like these wouldn't be flattering on my short legs. However, I absolutely love them! I definitely need to try a pair!
ReplyDeletei'm sort of obsessed with these! people have been wearing them all over the city this weekend. i can't wait to get myself a pair!
ReplyDeleteI am completely obsessed with this look. I have a pair in brown that I bought almost three years ago in Paris and another in black that I bought at the same shop last year...I adore them. I wore them out and had them resoled. I adore them. I think I might have to go back there just to visit that shop. so happy it's a major trend this year..although I hae to say I felt kind of hip wearing them when no one else was:)
ReplyDelete"Think haute, not hooker darlings"....CLASSIC!
ReplyDeleteLove them all! x
ReplyDeleteI love love love these boots! I've been shopping high and low for some that A)I can afford and B)Fit up my athletic legs! Here's hoping...fingers crossed!
ReplyDeletegreat post! i love over the knee boots but i don't have a pair yet...can't decide if i should do heeled or more on the flat side. still figuring out my plan of attack for boots this season...
ReplyDeleteI'm loving so much boots lately, and these are no exception! I'n in love with the Fendi ones! xo
ReplyDeleteCarrie - I have the Fendi Secret code ones you have pictured, in gray. I LOVE these boots but I cannot get them over my knees and I know I am not that huge - lol!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to wear them, got a great deal on them from Barney's (half off, last yr!) and am stuck..maybe the shoe guy can stretch these beauties out for me??? What to do!
XOXO Amy
perfect timing! i am in the hunt for the perfect over the knee boots and you have given me so much inspiration!
ReplyDeletelove it!!! missed so much your blog :))
ReplyDeleteVery nice collection of boots... love the baby phat-style.

Love your opening remark - think haute not hooker!!
ReplyDeleteover the knee boots are so the 'IT' things! :) especially those which are made by Rodarte.. THUMBS UP! Lovin it. except for LiLo, she's not working it.. that over the knee white boots doesn't appeal for her.. LOL
ReplyDeletexx
nice!
ReplyDeletereally nice darling!
xoxo
lady thirty
Thanks to share all that treasures !!!
ReplyDeletelove boots*** (for ever*)
I love looking at them...but still shy to wear them over the knee! What!!!??? ~Great selections darling!
ReplyDeletexo*

ReplyDeleteX
I am so in love with this trend! I premiered my black suede thigh highs the other day, and although it was a little too hot outside, I felt great! :)
ReplyDeletexoxo
Well, I am not tall enough to wear them but I do like them on other women!
ReplyDeleteLove these! The Jimmy Choos look so comfy and warm... Fun post!
ReplyDeleteSuch a hot look! How do shorties wear it though without looking even shorter?
ReplyDeleteI am so surprised but I actually love the Prada waders.
ReplyDeletelove them, not sure I could pull them off though :))
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day, dearest CC
xoxo
love this trend...i have a pair of flat otk boots from last year and have pre-ordered a pair for this year!
ReplyDeleteoh my God!
ReplyDeleteI am crazy about over knee boots!
I do love them and with a pair of denim pants are the best for me...so french girl!
I am planning to buy one that I saw at the net from Topshop! I hope I can make it!
Many kisses and thanks for this wonderful post!
These boots are all stunning. Oh, how I wish I was tall. I can't wear over-the-knee boots without looking like a midget. :(
ReplyDeleteI want to try but I am so short :(
ReplyDeleteLove that last one...wondering if I can justify another pair of over the knee boots -- I've had a pair of Manolos forever. Maybe they're getting old? ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove them! I especially love the way they look over jeans.
ReplyDeleteI could never pull the over the knee boots off - but they sure do make a statement!
ReplyDeletei have been dreaming about over the knee boots. i bought some a few years ago at VS and i want a new pair! mine are pointy toe ones. do you think they are outdated?
ReplyDeleteso in love with over-the-knee boots right now!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE the Versace boots!
ReplyDeleteAwesome selections.
Have a great day!
cc
Love Gucci and Chanel boots ;)
ReplyDeleteXXX wapa
You and others are persuading me.....
ReplyDeleteSeems like Versace have it nailed
ReplyDeleteSo nice! I wrote an article about over knee boots myself last week as well!
ReplyDeleteLove, Suusje
Great post! I love boots! It's about time for them!
ReplyDelete--Beauty Revolution Magazine
Gorgeous boots! I love love love the Gucci ones especially... them and the polka-dotted dress. I want I want.
ReplyDeletethanks for the response and comment! whew! cos i was seeing more rounded toe boots this season and not so many pointy toes. i didn't want to spend on money to buy a new pair! yay!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your picks! I especially love the boots that are tight to the leg, almost so that they look like they are thick stockings (if that makes any sense?)

OMG! YESSSSSS!!!!!! I am so obsessed with boots as I'm sure you know haha!
ReplyDeleteHaute not hooker! LOVE IT! XO
i LOVE over-the-knee boots, the flat ones above all!
ReplyDeleteAwesome post. These boots are gorgeous. Love 'em. Wished I could carry off that look.
ReplyDeleteI love this look with a cute girly dress. Beautiful inspiration.
ReplyDeleteOTK boots.. HOTNESS.
ReplyDeleteI love them all, but I think I'm going to stay on the sidelines with this trend. I figure it will probably go out sooner rather than later (only to come back again someday down the road) and I think I am going to reserve my boot money for regular boots. Who knows, maybe I'll take a chance on a less pricey pair?
ReplyDeleteI am sooo in love with this trend. I'm definitely on the look out for a pair of them.
ReplyDeleteI love the sky high Gucci boots that look almost like leather pants. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteave ALWAYS loved this look!
ReplyDeleteAll of them...greatness ...really enhances the legs! Tall gals make me wanna go climbing!
Good post cc!
;)
Now, I absolutely love over-the-knee boots, but I'm wondering how on earth I could pull them off at work without looking a tad Pretty Woman. What do you think? Is it possible?
ReplyDelete* Kelsey
These boots are so hot and fierce!
ReplyDeleteI love these!! I know you do too! Still don't own any...maybe it is time to go grab some!
ReplyDeleteI love the Rodarte ones.
ReplyDeleteI love these so much, CC!! Esp, the flat ones. I think I would look a little silly with the heeled ones.
ReplyDeletelove love love all of them. I bought a pair last winter and wore them so much i had to get the bottom replaced. I am currently looking for a grey suede pair :)
ReplyDeletexx
i've been a little iffy on this trend but, i'm loving these pictures you have on here. so pretty!!
ReplyDeletei once had a hooker pair - even dressed them up for Halloween. got some dirty looks....but had to give them away - feet grew after the babe
ReplyDeletei have been looking but still have not found a pair to flatter me yet. : (
ReplyDeletebeautiful beautiful indeed~~
ReplyDeletegrey suede seems fitting for me

Ouuuuuu they are fierce but quite tricky to pull off :o]
ReplyDeleteI need some of this
ReplyDeleteI love these simple, brown over-the-knee flats cause they suit my style, but adore all black highhills !!! I should think about buying one or two... :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS POST!!! I love this trend. I think it's very modern and fresh as oppose to boots in the 90s that only went up to the knee. I didn't realize it was everywhere on the runway. When I did my post about this trend, I was only able to select a few looks from a few designers. This is a great post, Carrie. I love seeing all the different over the knee boots.
ReplyDeletethe over the knee boots will be the new it long time from now on- warm and funky.
ReplyDeleteHello dear CC!!
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty Womanish jeje. I love them!!! I want to get a pair for myself :)
Such a fab post! The thigh high is at the top of my shopping list for Fall! I'm still doing my research, but I'm so glad that all the looks out there are non-Pretty Woman, which used to be my biggest worry with the look. I can't even decide which of these is my favorite... I want them all!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a sexy but elegant look-fabulous!
ReplyDeleteloveeeeeeeeee over the knee boots
ReplyDeletei can never tell whether i like when something i love becomes really popular or not. on the one hand it makes finding the perfect pair a lot easier because there are so many more to choose from, but on the other hand then everyone will be wearing it and it's not as unique. what do you prefer???
