I'm pulling out my black velvet mules with embroidered butterfly right now. Been so out of it I had no idea that butterflies were floating around everywhere.

This is truly a beautiful post. This butterfly inspired fashion is what should be synonymous to the feminine gender. Flowing, delicate, graceful and exquisite!I am truly drawn to the orange gown and can envision myself in it!
This summer will be interesting!
So butterfly(ous!), :)
Lorraine Schwartz earrings are very charming!

What a beautiful post! Butterflies are lovely, and you chose great pics. Besos!
Your posts always impress me so much!
i generally really like this trend. the problem with it is that it can either look really cute or really tacky.
Wow I love the Karen Millen applique vest!!

I adore that Gucci dress, and the butterfly scarf!
I'm so, so glad butterflies have stuck around, it's such a wonderful trend :)
The Anushka mini sling is absolutely GORGEOUS! To be honest, I've always thought that butterflies were a little tacky (probably thanks to Mariah Carey!) But the pieces you have featured here are truly stunning!
Gorgeous!!
I love the butterfly belt (it's the best of the lot) and the top with the butterfly on the back. Pretty :)
xo
I will break out my butterfly ring this spring! Oh I'm so excited. And the United Bamboo dress is gorgeous.
Hey CC!! I have to say I love the subtle butterfly motifs- not so much the actual butterfly but variations and inspirations of it!
Great post!
I usually don't liek butterflies because it looks a little too childish and kitsch, but that McQueen belt/corset is amazing!
Butterflys always make me think of Neiman Marcus.
love the butterfly necklace and that purple dress!
i don't usually like stuff with butterflies on it that much...but some of that stuff is SO beautiful!
Butterflies are such special little creatures, they have a bit of a spiritual meaning for me too.. fashion wise I have an amazing vintage sequin butterfly top I just adore! xx
These are fabulous Carrie... will this be the Motif for fashion this summer? They are delicate, and beautiful, the bag reminds me of the 1960's!
oooo my BF loves butterflies, i gotta share this ur post with her!
What a lovely extension of the garden theme. I like butterflies in small details - like dainty earrings or a belt buckle. Nice!
If I could wear that Gucci's blue dress I will be on holiday instantly.
I am one of those girls who likes butterflies but not the hippie butterfly stuff but when I it incorporated into great fashion pieces, I get really excited! Great post.
Everything's so gorgeous I don't know where to look!
Hi there-yes, a beautiful trend and some lovely picks here! I love the ASOS top and the pin too! I'd love a dress with a lovely butterfly print on, great post!
I'm quite happy about that phenomenom, cause I love butterflies!
Andrés Sardá one is stunning! I really really like it! Butterfly prints are so pretty..
I love this, not in the liberty-mood but more abstract, like Christopher Kane for example... in Velvet few months ago there was a fantastic article about fashion & butterflies, and your article completes it perfectly !
Hugs !
PAUL AND JOE! i love! gosh cannot beleive i hadn't noticed this trend yet...great post. and i may even now be inspired to wear my own butterfly top to work tomorrow! xxx :) LM
