Velvet Accents

We won’t wear it head to toe, lest we resemble drapery or theatre seating, but a touch of velvet can add interest and dimension to an ensemble this winter. Just review the vivacious velvets on the runways! Photos via style.com except where noted.

Hi CC,

Great post! I love velvet shoes and bags but velvet dresses aren't my style...much rather...the suede leather. :-)

I love velvet, but it's so easy to end up looking like a comfy cushion when you're wearing it! A pair of gloves or a scarf is a far as I will go!

Lovely images, though! xoxo

hi carrie! how are you?

love velvet in moderation. it needs to be just the trimming on an outfit or an accessory. makes the outfit look very luxurious.
