i want to do the bf blazer look soooo badly but i just want to take one of my bf's blazers and rock it.

unfortunately, he's 6'4 and i'm only 5'2 (ok, i'm really 5'1 but a girl can pretend!) so his blazers would never fit me...sadly....

looking forward to this contest!

I have a really nice tailored 'nautical' one I love, navy with cream trim. It always gets compliments.
Chanel tweed jackets are to die for. Just fabulous. I seem to have an ever growing collection of pink tweed jackets.. (not all Chanel, hehe. I wish. I'm getting one for a very special occassion)

That gal with the white X across her chest is stunning... as are the rest, but that particular image really stood out to me. Bravo.

LadyLUX said...

I love this new trend of blazers. Thanks for a great review! What I love about blazers is that they can be worn with more structured dresses, skirts and pants, as well as with the more ephemeral and flowy fabrics. And the variety in silhouettes is stunning. I love the Rebecca Taylor one, on top of the cream colored dress. The green DKNY houndstooth set is so so chic, and the JPG one (with the white X) is a stunning combo!

its been a long time since I've had a blazer. But the ones I had all bring stories to mind. The steel colored Miami Vice style worn with a marcaite lizard pin on the lapel. Worn to a fleetwood Mac concert in the 80s. The banana yellow one, fitted, 90's style, bought from Banana Republic and worn to take out a line of workers on strike, the charcoal wool from Anne taylor worn to my first court case. yeah blazers are drama
