The picture of the yellow beautify case reminds me when I was little. I dreamed of having a "beauty case", very very 50'ties, seen not only in Hollywood movies but also over at my aunt and godmother that I admired very much. But I grew out of that ... however I love suitcases, bags, chests ... Love this post!

ReplyDeleteExcess baggage...I need to be dressed for every possible occasion or event when I go on holiday...because you never know who you will meet...so I travel with plenty of luggage...and I check it, not drag it onto the plane.
Great pieces..makes me want to pack my bags and GO.

You find the bestest images, CC. Hands down:)
ReplyDeleteI love expensive luggage. Just because it is designed so well. Although, if I did invest in it, I would feel bad using it because the airport guys probably wouldn't handle it with care...Love this post, want the yellow piece, badly!
ReplyDeletexo,
Jessica

I scored a gorgeous old red leather suitcase at a flea market for 1,5€! I'm in love. Though it's not all that practical since it doesn't have wheels :D Well, I can always use it as decoration ;)

Fab suitcases - sigh more things to covert! Your blog should have a disclaimer x
ReplyDeleteThe most beautiful luggage I saw recently was the one Vuitton did for Wes Anderson's movie, The Darjeeling Limited. But you did a great selection!
ReplyDeleteWhat I wouldn't do for some classic LV luggage or that sunny vanity case!
ReplyDeleteThis is the kind of baggage I would be happy to tote around life! I absolutely LOVE hard luggage. Something about it is an instant throwback. The Brooks Brothers trunk is great. ReplyDeletetravel bags are always a challenge.... you want cuteness factor and the practicality :)
ReplyDeleteOh, these are so terrific! I've always loved the idea of traveling in style, with the huge LV or Goyard trunks. I've also had my eye on the cuter Orla Kiely items, but in the end, I'm still sticking to my reliable Samsonites. I just don't think I could ever bear to have any of those damaged or scratched... sigh.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a fab weekend my dear!
